Stayed in February 2023 as a group of friends in a three bedded apartment. Vigilia Park is in an excellent location with lots of shops, restaurants and bars close by. All of the staff were very friendly and obliging whether they worked in reception, housekeeping or poolside. There are two pools, one on the roof and thr other at ground level; each pool has a bar but unfortunately the downstairs one was seldom open during our stay. Now for the not so good. Breakfast is a very poor affair which none of our party enjoyed, we ate it once and never returned. The downstairs pool has a wobbly handrail, beware that you don’t come a cropper entering the water. Our apartment had been renovated with lovely flooring throughout, nice bathrooms and comfy beds but this was all spoiled by clapped out furniture and a poorly equipped kitchen. I guess for what Vigilia charges it’s passable but for the sake of some investment it could be so much better.

The resort is well situated with plenty of good cafes, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Vigilia is an older resort with walk ways outside the apartments consequently it can be noisy when people come and go with their cases. My apartment overlooked a side street which wasn’t great and once again was somewhat noisy because of traffic and an air conditioner working away overnight. The apartment had been updated with great bathrooms, flooring and comfortable beds; the living area was ruined however by a clapped out sofa bed and a ‘not so comfy’ wicker chair. Although extremely clean the kitchen area was not well equipped, it didn’t affect us as we ate out but would have been an issue if guests with families wanted to self cater. The pool areas were sun traps especially the one situated on the ground floor. (nb the handrail is wobbly) The staff were unerringly polite, helpful and friendly. A BIG note of caution must be added at this point regarding the entrance which is accessed through a shopping mall. Extreme caution is needed when wet, the mall’s tiled floor becomes an ice rink and is an accident waiting to happen; believe me I know!

We spent a week half board here, and it has a lot of good points, but as with any place, I suppose, some bad ones, which always seem to overshadow the holiday. Good...... Rooms are clean, well maintained, and pretty well equipped, and in our 1 bed apartment, a proper king size bed! It was very comfy too. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the apartments are cleaned every 2 days. The 2 pool areas are are again cleaned and well maintained, but with with a couple of drawbacks, which I'll get to shortly. The area is pleasant, with a bus stop just outside the entrance, which has regular busses to Los Christianos, San Juan etc. Plenty of bars and restaurants about too. Los Gigantes is a short but very hilly walk away, a lovely place to see. You get the impression that a fair amount of money has been spent on the resort, and hopefully a bit more to go yet. And now the not so good.... Noise! And lots of it. During the day, there is a shopping mall at the bottom of the resort, and this can get a bit noisy, as it echoes up between the apartments, not great for an afternoon siesta. As with any holiday place, those being inconsiderate can make the experience worse, especially at night or the early hours. The bedroom faces the central shopping atrium, and is only single glazed, so a loud conversation, which seems to be the only volume for a lot of people, can be detrimental to sleep, which happened to us one night where a loud conversation in Spanish went on for over an hour after 1am, until I looked out to see who it was (possibly staff as they were sitting just outside reception) and let them know of my displeasure (politely). Our apartment faced the street (2nd floor), and a fair amount of noise was apparent there too, although the patio door is double glazed and stopped a lot of it. Special shout out to the idiots in the apartment above our apartment who thought loud music was acceptable at 7am every morning, and had a child that appear to have been shod by a farrier and ran a marathon constantly during the day. We were half board, and the breakfast wasn't bad and plentiful, though a little eclectic for our English palate at times. The evening meals were not great, often overcooked, repetitive and always cold. Both breakfast and dinner were standard holiday buffet style, but the common theme was always tepid or cold food. Really need to address this. The pools were lovely, with a nice well priced bar on the upper deck one, but the lower ones bar was always closed during the day. Missing a trick here, guys, people were enjoying the area that has signs saying no consumption of food or drink bought outside, but no place to get one inside? I'm conclusion, we liked the apartment, apart from the noise factor, the area was pleasant, but the food was a good reason to go self catering in the not badly equipped kitchen in the apartment, which is what we usually do, but decided this once not to. Guess what we will do next time! I would love to give this 5 stars, but the noisy area and possibly noisy staff and poor food offering preclude this. If you are coming here, the upper rooms would be a better bet I think, and go self catering.

The resort is older, however they have tried to update each unit. Updating the colours to greys with modern cabinets. the shower head, the shower itself as well. the furniture is simple but ample for the time you are in the room. The kitchen items are sufficient and if any of the kitchen items are not to your satisfaction they will provide you with a new one. The views are fabulous if you get a sea view room.

I really liked this place. Despite being a 2* hotel and down a slightly dodgy looking side street thing, this hotel was surprisingly really good. The rooms were cleaned daily I think? They were big enough and clean. The balcony was small but fine for 4 of us. The top pool was absolutely freezing but was a nice area to sun bathe. Drinks were cheap at the pool bar compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at in the past. Staff were nice. Car rental was way cheaper from the hotel than through other renters. £94 for 3 days. Around the corner they were quoting €250 for 2 days for a Fiat 500. The area around the hotel had plenty of bars and restaurants. The sea was a 10 minute walk away. Best part was, we only paid £1200 for a week here plus flights for 4 people.

We stayed as family of 2A and 2C. Yes the apartments are basic but perfectly suitable for us. We had 2 bedbroom one level apartment on floor 3, kitchen is dated but was sufficient use for us. The balcony was small and unusable which overlooked the street below. We read reviews before we went and was worried but we was pleasantly surprised. Yes we was above restaurants on floor 3 but the noise was not bad at all, we was not kept awake once. We used the downstairs pool and bar once, but my boys preferred the rooftop pool. The pools were freezing cold but that didn't stop my children. There is rooftop golf which we played once for deposit. There is a pool table also. There are shops below and a lidl just up the road. There is no evening entertainment at all or bar area past 6pm. We went across to George sports bar which was lovely food and welcoming staff, would recommend. Yes it's very hilly and steep when walking around the local area not suitable for people with walking problems. The views are amazing, we went to the local bay and got boat excursions and there was a lovely ice cream shop and small beach. We walked to the local beach about 15 mins away which was lovely but a steep climb back up. There is bus stops outside (no entry without masks) they go to alot of places. We went to costa adjeke and playa de Las Americas and for 4 of us it would cost around 16/18 euro each way. We went to aqualand for 108 euro without transport and would recommend although the water was cold also. We used Google maps whilst there which was good for bus stops etc. Overall nothing special at 2* and would consider again maybe but the world is a big place.

My family of 6 traveled from the States to Tenerife and booked our lodging in faith through Stayforlong. The accommodations booked were for 6 but upon arriving to the serviced apartment it only fit 5. We requested a correction but reception refused, and after sending two emails in the situation to Stayforlong we heard nothing back!! As a result, we needed to leave the hotel to find another and currently in pursuits of requesting a refund!!! Furthermore, this place is disgusting and felt like it was a homeless shelter. The furniture had cigarette holes, ripped with foam exposed, stains and cockroaches… GROSS! Hindsight, we were lucky they could not accommodate us and were frauds because we might have had to stay! No one should do business and post this supplier without validating their arrangements. HUGE disappointment…. DO NO TRUST!!

This hotel has everything you need, kettle, microwave, top cooking hobs, hairdryer, fridge freezer. It’s very clean and the rooms are spacious. A Lidl is situated near by for anything you might need. The hotel has shops underneath and some restaurants. We didn’t eat at the hotel apart from 1 breakfast which was ok so can’t really comment on the food. The roof terrace is amazing, great views with a pool and hot tub and plenty of sun loungers. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again. The place is quite hilly if you go down to the beach and other restaurants be prepared for a hilly walk back up. Bus stop to Los Cristianos and Las Américas right opposite the hotel bus 473 gets you there and are pretty regular.

We had a fantastic week at Vigilia Park Apartments. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are spotlessly clean and the apartments are spacious and well equipped. The apartments are ideally located for walking, for the beach and for local bars and restaurants. The food is generous, adequate but quite basic. Our apartment overlooked the street and the bars can be quite noisy in the evening if you are sensitive to noise. All in all a fabulous week away and we will be coming back. Thank you Vigilia Park.
