Detailed Reviews
This hotel has a nice, quiet location for a family holiday. The rooms are basic, but there's plenty of space. The ocean view over the streets is really nice, you can see the sun set behind La Gomera island (and the fireworks at New Year's eve). There's basic kitchen supplies, so you can cook a simple lunch if you wish. The beds and sheets are not comfortable at all (my sheet had holes in it), the beds creek so loud when you turn or get up that you'll wake up the person next to you, so not for light sleepers. The bed had weird broken/ripped fabric hanging from the bottom. Pillows are good and big. The floors in the rooms don't feel clean and they are dangerously slippery if walking with wet, bare feet. Otherwise the rooms were clean.
Breakfast is good and has variety. They brought gluten free bread and cookies upon request.
The pool area is clean, nice and calm, but the water in the pool was freezing in December, even for the kids from Finland :D The kids of our family got to swim plenty, but apart from them only a few adults dipped in the water every now and then. The pool bar offers snacks and drinks, prices are reasonable, but quality is not superb. They were unable to come up with any gluten free tapas for 1 person, which felt weird since there was plenty gluten free stuff at breakfast, but I guess it was more about not being willing to be flexible.
Our family had 3 rooms and the one that had kids was located right next to the swimming pool. It would have been nice to have all 3 rooms closer together (now we were all on different floors), but I understand that it's not always possible.
From the 3 rooms our group had, all 3 rooms had malfunctioning air conditioning. Two rooms had aircon working only in the living room, but not in the bedroom (which was not a huge issue and we didn't ask for repairs, since we didn't need the 2nd one anyway). The third room had no working aircon at all, which they tried to fix but couldn't, so the air in the room was terrible, moist and hot, even though they kept the balcony door open at nights.
There are quite a few restaurants right outside (Restaurante Plaza down the stairs on the street, close to the shore and a little Italian place were nice). There are more restaurants and shops in the bigger village center about 10-15 minutes walk away (nice scenery walk along the shoreline). The best restaurants we ate in the village were La Pergola and Melissa, which both had amazing food and service, and sunset views over the ocean.
Service in the hotel is good and friendly, everyone was always smiling! :)
Since the breakfast is so good and varied, the views and location are good, and the pool area is nice, I will give the hotel 3 stars. Without these, it would probably be just over 2 stars. We had a really nice holiday, but probably wouldn't choose this hotel again.

My wife and I stayed 3 nights, arriving by rental car before 2 PM and parking across the street. The efficient receptionist took our passports, card payment and provided key cards with the WIFI password. We took one of the two elevators up to the 5th floor. Room #502 opened to a spacious kitchen-living room with a couch across a nice TV (France 24 in English) and a window wall door to a large terrace with comfortable seating, drying rack and a coastal seaview to include La Gomera. The nice bathroom had a tub shower with body wash/shampoo and the bedroom had 2 comfortable twins put together across a closet wall.
The 7:30 AM or 9:30 AM breakfast buffet (your choice) was complete with all normal items; fruit, juices, many eggs, beans, cereals, yogurts, hot and cold meats, cheeses, breads, coffees and more.
We walked 80 m to the HiperDino supermarket (buy drinking water) and 600 m to the popular Playa de la Arena passing several restaurants. Did not use the pool or gym.
This 78 room hotel is spotlessly clean, has nice southerly views and is a great value to visit this area.

My husband and I stayed here for a week at the beginning of January.
Reception was good. Bright and airy. Quick check in.
Our room was on the 2nd floor overlooking the ocean and the main road along the sea front.
As soon as we opened the door we could smell damp. This smell soon left when we opened the patio doors.
The apartment was a one bedroom....lounge area with sofa (bed) big tv and kitchenette. Patio doors leading onto a small balcony with two rattan chairs and coffee table.
The bedroom was very large with a big double bed. Looks to of wardrobe space and safe.
Patio doors leading to balcony as above.
Air conditioning in both rooms is very good.
Although the apartment is big clean and airy it is in need of modernising as it’s a bit tired.
Noise from the road isn’t too bad but you can’t leave the doors open while in bed as traffic would disturb. ( I live in a quiet village).
There are two lifts to all floors. They are quite quick so not having to wait around too long.
On the roof is the pool and pool bar. It wasn’t very busy when we stayed so lots of sun beds and balanese sun beds were available. Pool bar served drinks and food.
One downside is that the pool was freezing....warmer in the sea !
The area is not too bad. Not as touristy as a lot of places in the canaries but it is a bit.
Plenty of restaurants to visit. Lots of shops and a few supermarkets. All very cheap compared to uk prices.

I ADVISE READ MY EXPERIENCE:
To start, we arrived around 9 at night and there was no parking on the entire block. We had to park on an uphill slope that if you look back you would fall on your back, and so on every night of the 4 we stayed. We went down to the accommodation and the receptionist received us without enthusiasm and with little impetus to speak in Spanish (without forgetting that we are in Spain). We went up to the room and found spider webs on the two air conditioners, curtains and corners of the room. Dirt in the refrigerator, microwave and countertop. The corners of the room with black stains of dirt and dust. Signs on the tables of glasses from other tenants. The view from the terrace was to the interior hallway where you enter the rooms and at the edge of the terrace, there were two dirty glass glasses that were not removed until the second day.
The bathroom is a joke. A brown blackout curtain on a 90's bathtub with damp bubbles on the yellow ceilings. Towel gnawed by the edges (they changed it for us and they remained the same). Silver paper in the corners on the towel cabinet and full of hair. The toilet lid was made of plastic and smaller than its dimensions. The bed covers and cushions had stains and we had to sleep uncovered because of disgust because in the 4 nights we slept, the sheets have not been changed even one day. The air conditioning control was yellow because it was so old and its screen couldn't even be seen.
The second night we arrived and found the room unmade because supposedly there was no cleaning service on Sundays and Thursdays, things that they never told us when we stayed. If we had known, we would not have put the towel on the floor to have it changed.
Finally, when checking out we expected that they would at least ask us how our stay was, but after 10 minutes of waiting, while the receptionist was talking on the phone, she just took our room cards and didn't let us know. He didn't even say goodbye.
It should be noted that the accommodation is lost by the hand of God, 15 minutes from the main highway, and it is a pain every time you want to go out to visit something.
The only good thing is that the cleaner was friendly, but the service they provided to the rooms was not appropriate.
The breakfast was quite short and intended for foreign tourists, because they had nuggets, beans and things for lunch rather than breakfast.
A boring area, full of casinos and far from everything. I will not come back.

Close to the beach and the main seafront promenade with its own pool and well priced food. Rooms clean with everything that needed, only criticism were the pillows were hard. Sunloungers always available by the pool and a small but very well priced menu available throughout the day. Breakfast is buffet style with something for everyone

We spent a week in this aparthotel, good location, spectacular view of the island of La Gomera, varied and plentiful breakfast, shops and restaurants nearby, staff not always attentive to the needs of customers... so far everything more or less well, let's move on to the sore points, the rooms are beautiful and spacious but the bathrooms urgently need a restyling, let's say the cleanliness was not very good... and it went well for us..... Our traveling companions were found themselves in an unclean room, with the kitchen sink blocked... at night an annoying sound started from some electronic device in the room and one night they had the unpleasant visit of a cucaracha. To have the room changed, which should have been happen promptly, it took a lot of anger. Overall the structure is acceptable but to make it truly comfortable it would require general renovation work, a little more bathroom and kitchen accessories supplied in the apartments and much more attention regarding to the general cleanliness and also in the breakfast room. Unfortunately there was also a strong smell of sewage but this does not depend on the hotel, sewerage works are being carried out nearby.

We stayed mid September for 10 days, the hotel itself has clean lovely apartments, we had a one bedroom apartment, decent sized bathroom with good over bath shower, good size bedroom and living area small but sofa tv etc, loads of storage everywhere, drawers cupboards etc, the kitchen was well equipped to make a meal and had enough crockery but bizarrely only one plug socket! Maybe that could be looked at.
Breakfast was ample plenty of hot and cold options, of the usual items. Pool on the 4th floor was a smallish area but the resort is quiet away from the busy parts so not many children at the time we were there. Plenty of sunbeds and double sunbeds too. A pool bar with snacks is open at lunchtime until 5pm. No WiFi at the pool though.
A few places to eat at night and have a wander to a few shops but if you want a more livelier holiday this is not the area for you. All in all a nice quiet resort, some hills to negotiate but a lovely hotel.

We stayed two weeks in this hotel. On arrival we found a bottle of wine in our very spacious two bedroom appartment. Balcony with beautiful seaview. A good start for a pleasant stay. Breakfast was good and variety was big enough. The swimmingpool had great sunbeds. Cleaning was fine and good. Further I must make a remark about the friendlyness and helpfullness of the staff (reception, pool area and restaurant). All people were very friendly and made our stay a good one in this hotel. Even the last day. Special thanks to Daniel Rivas who helped a lot (even before we arrived. Thanks again!)
In the near surrounding of the hotel (across the street) you can find good restaurants: Day and Night, Delhi Darbar, l'Italiano) and (a bit further away near to the beach) Pepe were you can enjoy some good food.

The hotel is well located near the Seafront in Puerto De Santiago. Bustop is almost outside the hotel.
It is a 25min walk into Los Gigantes along a seafront and 40 min walk to Alcala along a newly extended path.
Bus service along coast to Los Christianos.
The room was quite large and with a balcony looking out to sea so we could watch the sunset over La Gomera. Kitchen facilities included kettle microwave and 2 ring hob.
Plenty of restaurants and mini supermarket nearby.
Hotel staff were extremely helpful and could not be faulted.
Breakfast was plentiful in dining area. Two sittings to enusre sufficent spacing .
Great value and I would thoroghly recommend this hotel.

Great location, beautifully relaxed resort and pretty quiet and civilised.
Hotel located on a busy corner but there isn’t much traffic around so noise not an issue. Friendly staff, always smiling and helpful. Buffet breakfast really good (if a bit unusual) and plenty to choose from. Rooms a great size and our sea view room had amazing views from the balcony. Room was pretty basic, the sofa was uncomfortable to sit on (it’s a bed settee if needed) and the bathroom is dangerous when showering. My partner fell out of the bath today right onto the floor (no injuries but lucky) as the shower bath really slippery. A non slip mat would be useful. Also the kitchen is ok for basic meals but a combi oven instead of a basic microwave would make things better. Bar and pool area upstairs is pretty comfortable and quiet with great views but the pool is freezing and wasn’t being used by anyone except the hardy! There are sewage pipes directly opposite on the street which did stink some of the time but these looked like being worked on by the authorities so hopefully not an ongoing issue.
All in all, great location, friendly staff, just tired and rooms need updating
