I have stayed here six times now as a single traveller, but my most recent trip (February 2023) I travelled with my partner. The staff always go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are more like apartments with a fridge / freezer, air con and could quite easily sleep four as there is a double sofa bed in the living room too and the cleaners attend regularly. I actually think the food has improved the last few times I’ve been here and we were even treated to themed evenings based on different countries. In addition to the hot buffet, there is a lovely fresh salad bar, plenty of freshly baked rolls, butter, sliced cheeses, meats, ice cream, a desert bar and fresh fruit. It’s hard for the Chef to please lots of different nationalities, not just the British. If you fancy a change, just in front of the hotel there are two Italian restaurants, a Chinese, Indian and Spanish restaurant. You can get hot dogs and burgers between 4pm and 5pm from the pool bar, but you can make your own sandwiches and there are pastries and fruit available all day too. There is a wide range of soft drinks and alcoholic drinks. I love the fact you can get Fanta lemon zero and coke zero and the measures are huge. The bars also serve hot drinks. The hotel is in a good location, it’s in walking distance of everything you need (supermarkets, beaches, bars, shops and restaurants). There is a good bus service just outside too. The new Entertainment Manager Coco did a brilliant job. There was Yoga, darts, table tennis, bowls and shooting etc during the day and bingo, karaoke, disco and quizzes on an evening. In peak season, they normally also have singers and shows etc. I’ve never been to Tenerife at the beginning of February before and it was very quiet and most of the other guests in the hotel were a lot older than us, but we still had a lovely week away.

Very dear LeedsLass043, Every time you visit us our eyes light up because your kindness and complacency encourage us and help us to make our work easier. That is why, as on other occasions, we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued trust in us, and for continuing to choose us for your holidays alone or with someone. We love reading you feel at home thanks to the attention of the team, who already consider you as part of the family. In addition, the kitchen team thank you for appreciating the improvements made, and for understanding and recognising how difficult it is to satisfy different diners. Also, we read you had a great time with Coco, and the multitude of activities on offer, both day and night. We are also glad you experienced the relaxing atmosphere of the island in February. But whether it is Summer or Winter, we want you to keep sharing such wonderful moments with us. Until next time, we send you our loveliest regards. Blue Sea Lagos de Cesar.

We are a family of 5, 2 adults, 3 teenagers, and this was our first time in the Canaries. It was also our first time on an All Inclusive holiday so we don't have much experience to compare to our time at Lagos De Cesar. We read the reviews with some trepidation but we had a wonderful time there. As it was our first time we decided to book 2 junior suites rather than the basic rooms. We arrived in the evening after a long days travel and were asked whether we'd prefer to have a single apartment (301) with two separate bedrooms rather than the two separate rooms. This sounded great, as we hadn't finalised our sleeping arrangements. In addition to the 2 separate bedrooms, the apartment had two balconies and a large bathroom and plenty of storage. We didn't really understand the negative comments about the food as there was always plenty of choice. A lot of the food was not what we'd experienced at home but the fish and meat were excellent every evening and the breakfasts and lunches were very enjoyable even if our teenagers tended to go for bread chips and pasta. There was plenty of choice for desserts too – I thought the chocolate mousse was very tasty. The staff were very friendly and hard-working. We found it quite cold at night and the hotel quickly provided blankets when asked for. The TV has UK channels and the wifi was free and quick enough. The swimming pool was a lot of fun. It is deep throughout and good for swimming lengths. Being February the water never really warmed up and it was great to jump into the cold towards the end of the afternoon after some time in the sun. We felt very safe throughout our stay. Puerto Santiago is a very nice small town and we enjoyed exploring. The black sand beach in the centre of town was great as were the natural volcanic pools to the north side. If we'd discovered them sooner we would have enjoyed swimming in them, as it was we only able to enjoy the views. We had a terrific stay and particularly enjoyed the photographer who charged 20 euros for us to appear on the front of the hotel's promotional mag, not realising this was a personalised service. Well worth the money! It may have been some time ago that the hotel was awarded its four stars but the hotel was spotlessly clean throughout. There were enough sun loungers for us all every day, though I could imagine that it might be different when the hotel was busier. The only minor issues we had were that the safe in our room didn't work and it was a little annoying to not be able to get tea or coffee at lunch or dinner. There wasn't much activity happening after dinner - we're quite self-contained so had brought some games. There were a few other families but on the whole the clientele were older than us. Our stay at Lagos de Cesar was a very enjoyable introduction to Tenerife and also to All Inclusive holidays. The weather was great too. Finally, a word of warning - the traffic back to the airport was very slow and we needed over 3 hours to get there. The company organising the transfers had allowed plenty of time to get to the airport but there was a time when we weren't sure we would get there. Even with a few pick ups the trip could have easily been completed in less than half the time if the traffic had kept moving.

Dear Cruiser49112210867, How happy we were to be your first AI accommodation on the beautiful island of Tenerife! Thus, we wish to thank you for booking your family holiday experience with us. We would also like to do so for sharing your beautiful holiday on this website. It is really gratifying for us to know you had a wonderful time. Even after the fear caused by some criticisms, which you can refute with your testimony. At the same time, we understand you felt comfortable and relaxed at ease, forgetting all your worries, and enjoying our facilities and services. Moreover, the kitchen staff are very glad to read you tasted different dishes, and that you sampled them with appreciation. Therefore, they thank you for the lovely recognition. On the other hand, you say apart from feeling at ease, also took the opportunity to visit the most interesting places on the island, discovering magical volcanic landscapes and exotic beaches. Although, we were sad to find you couldn't enjoy the nice natural pools. Still, it seems to us the perfect excuse for you to come back to the island. Think about it, while we send you our fondest regards. Blue Sea Lagos de Cesar.

As other reviews have stated , no way is this a four star hotel. 2-3 star at most. For the price I oaid..£160 all-inc for 3 nights you don't expect 4 star...but for what you got it was great value for money. Room dated but huge and spotlessly clean. WiFi in the room worked perfectly. TV with the first 5 British channels and BBC news. Food was okay...lets just say it caters for a lot of different nationalities... huge seafood paella served one night and it was delicious , you won't go hungry. All-inclusive drinks were good , plenty of spirits to choose from although the ready made cocktail's in a box weren't for me! Shout out to the barman David... very friendly bloke who got to know my own concoctions throughout the weekend lol! San Miguel was the beer on tap, wine and sangria are on tap too. Soft drinks were great, it's proper Coke and Fanta lemon and orange. The hotel was quiet at this time of year so lacked atmosphere and the entertainment wasn't there , although one night there was a music quiz which was great.... music being a universal language... everyone had fun. All the staff I encountered were polite , professional and friendly. Location of the hotel for me personally was spot on..turn left and 5 minute walk into playa arena , turn right and Puerto Santiago a 10 minute walk. I was visiting relatives in Los gigantes and that's around a 20 minute walk. Bus stop just outside the hotel though. Numerous, great restaurants and bars in the area. Would I stop here again? Definitely... again it's not a 4 star but a value for money 2-3 star hotel. I had a lovely much needed weekend break.

Dear Eddiew677, It is wonderful you enjoyed the excellent value for money we offer to those who choose us. We must, therefore, thank you for booking your holiday at our hotel, and for giving us your very welcome feedback. We would also like to thank you on behalf of David who remembers you fondly. We understand from your words you had a lovely time, sunbathing on the beach and exploring the most picturesque places in Tenerife. You also tell us how you enjoyed the local restaurants and bars where, definitely, you could sample some of the tastiest traditional dishes. But we also read, you spent time with your loved ones, which makes your stay totally worthwhile. Thus, we hope you will make us your choice again when you are back on the island. Until then, we send you our kindest regards. Blue Sea Lagos de Cesar.

We went here as a last minute weekend away just me and my husband. We had a great time! The room was very big and we had a great view to look out at. The food was ok, its not the best but its not the worse. The receptionist Hosey was lovely and very helpful when we needed his help one night. David behind the bar is great too, very fun and friendly! All the staff were great to be honest!. We had the best weather and will defo return again for another weekend especially to see what the new refurbishment will look like :-) Thank you!

No parking and very hard to find parking near by especially in the evening. Food same service for breakfast no choice of sweet bakery so if you prefer continental breakfast funny enough you have to go for English every morning. Have asked for coffee at reception at 7am no coffee machine at reception restaurant opening at 8am been told🤦 No smoking area at swimming pool

Hello Jurand, We are sorry to learn you were not as pleased with your stay as we wished, and we apologise if we did not live up to your expectations. However, we would like to make a few points in this regard. Firstly, our website states we do not have a car park. So, although we are very sorry you found it difficult to park, we are not responsible for the spaces outside our accommodation. Secondly, we are surprised by your comments about the coffee machine at the reception, as no one has ever requested such a thing, and we believe 8:00 AM is a more than convenient time for everyone to access the dining room. Nonetheless, we are sorry if this affected your holiday. As for the breakfast itself, we regret you were not satisfied with it either, despite the good work of the kitchen staff. Finally, we would like to remark it is against the law to smoke in public places where smoke can cause a nuisance to other guests. Having said that, we would like to inform you that your opinion will be dealt with by the staff in charge in order to continue to improve. Best regards. Blue Sea Lagos de Cesar.

Beds are not comfortable and food is not pleasant but edible. Nothing tastes fresh. Pool is nice but a little dirty and a lovely beach nearby with black sand and some lovely local restaurants. Would only recommend booking breakfast only and eating out. Not the best place to stay as a couple as they only have single bed rooms which we weren't aware of when booking. More like a 2/3 star hotel not sure how they got a 4 star.

This is definitely not 4*, 2/3* is more realistic. Rooms are spacious but ours had blood on walls from previous guests, not nice! Our beds were made 3 days of our 4 night stay and bedding changed once. Bathroom cleaned but floors not swept. Food very, very basic and luke warm however there is a microwave to heat up. We didnt sit at the pool as not the best for sun (parasols blocked the sun a fair bit) and very small area so crowded. Pool bar snacks were terrible. We found a roof top area which was big but only 10 loungers. It did have showers and a water machine so that was a bonus. Staff were friendly with the exception of 1 female that worked in the restaurant and evening bar. Went to the the evening entertainment once. If you're looking for good entertainment then I don't recommend personally! Hotel is in need of a wee refurb really. Lots of cracked tiles and tired carpet but kept quite clean. I would not recommend this hotel or area for families or people looking for a great night out. More suited to a more mature age. We are 51 and 24. If you want quiet then spot on.

Dear LynneC294, Thank you very much for booking your winter holiday at the Blue Sea Caesar's Lakes. At the same time, we thank you for the time you took to share your feedback through this medium, and for the kind mention you made of the work of the staff. However, we see some aspects did not satisfy you. Thus, we would like to convey our sincere apologies for not having pleased you with the buffet. Nonetheless, we would ask you to consider the work of the kitchen staff, who do their best to ensure dinners find something to their liking. In any case, your feedback will be passed on to the staff in charge for them to take it into consideration when implementing improvements. Once again, we regret your disappointment and send you our best regards. Blue Sea Lagos de Cesar.

For the price you pay, you get: Extremely uncomfortable bed, speaking of one, we had to take a foldable sofa mattress and add it on top of the bed just to make the sleep more enjoyable. Poor-tasting food, when I say poor I mean you would think "they can't mess up the fried egg right, they will prove you wrong. Less than average quality swimming pool, We didn't try that we chose the rooftop terrace. Beautiful mountain-town-sea view, paper-thin walls, unpleasantly looking hallways and friendly staff who do their best to mask the horror of the state of this "hotel". They advertise themselves as 4-star hotel, maybe it was back in the '90s. I could go on but, since I'm never going back again there, this doesn't seem worth it.

Greetings 475vaidasa, We are extremely saddened to find your experience at our hotel was not as pleasant as we had all hoped and would like to apologise for knowing we fell short of your expectations. We understand you were not comfortable in your room as the bed did not meet your needs, and we are sorry you could not rest comfortably. On the other hand, we find some of your statements such as the pool being below average curious, as we have never seen anyone have a standard of what a pool should be like, and we apologise if you were upset about it. On the same note, we regret the buffet also did not win you over, and we apologise if this did not suit your culinary tastes. Having said that, we hope you enjoyed your stay on the island. Yours sincerely. Blue Sea Lagos de Cesar.
