The resort is a bit of a maze and it took a long time to find our room. The map provided isn’t detailed enough and there aren’t enough signs to help. The lift provided literally held one person with a suitcase and sometimes didn’t work. Eventually got to our room which was spacious, two bedrooms and a large living room which held a sofa bed. The air con was amazing one in each room, worked by a remote. Our balcony looked out over the main pool and had the air con unit on it which pumped out warm air. Some of the floor tiles were broken which was a shame but didn’t affect us. The only real negative to the room was the toilet space. The bathroom was nice but the shower was broken. Still worked and water was enough but the shower head was faulty, not enough to complain about though. The real downer for me was the toilet space itself. Being on the large side one of my arms touched one wall and the other arm touched the shower screen. Any bigger and I wouldn’t have been able to use it at all. We were situated at the back of a bar in the next building and loud music played a few times. We didn’t mind as it didn’t go on very long after we returned to the room and we have older children so it wasn’t a problem. As we were on the third floor we did have 54 steps to go up and down to get the to the dining and pool area. Beds were firm but comfy. Overall it suited our need which was to have a relaxing break after three years.

Hi. We can understand some of the reviews but disagree with many others. Generally this hotel Is clean and the food is above average and hot. What you've got to understand is that it's August their busiest time and hottest and the staff work very hard under trying conditions. The seaviews from the solarium and the mountain is something to behold. You can get more than 4 drinks at anytime and take them back to your room to save the extra long cues. If you're nice and polite to the staff they'll remember you and be nice back to you. The surface around the pool can get very wet and slippery during busy times so remember ..baby steps. The small beaches are just a short walk away from the hotel but the black sand gets very hot and the shore line and the sea very stoney/ Rocky. So wear beach sandals! Overall not a bad stay. Main score is for the cleanliness and food. Enjoy.

We arrived late last night and there was no food provided and no water in the room. We have asked for a kettle and nothing has happened. The food in the buffet and Cafe is terrible would rather have just gone and bought food and not done all inclusive! Wouldn't come back here

Have stayed in many 3* all inclusive hotels over the years but this is definitely the worst. Have been called a "Karen" and scaremonger about comments on other forums left about this hotel but can only reiterate what others here have said - it is truly awful! Hotel cannot cope with the turnover of guests in peak season! Rooms are basic but clean (although ours wasn't services for the first 5 days of our stay). A family of 3 will get a sofa bed which you have to make up yourself regardless of your time of arrival. Aircon is terrible - ours sounded like a tractor running constantly. Maintenance team tried and failed to fix it. Shower tray overflows as drains are choked (and by God they stink inside room and around hotel) therefore bathroom is flooded. Hotel remedy - give you more towels to soak up water?! The food was fine for the first few days but then it seemed like the chef went on holiday and it was a toss up what pork recipe could be thrown out quickly. Be wary of chicken thighs if on menu - a couple of times very undercooked. They also like to give you rabbit a couple of times a week. It was 2 weeks of chips (again undercooked on occasion), pasta and snack bar burgers for most meals. Breakfast was the only decent offering. The queues were ridiculous by about 7pm and you couldn't be sure which course people were queuing for. When you did slowly move along the servery, your acquired food was stone cold by the time you got to your table. The a-la carte restaurant on-site is nothing more than a small version of the main dining room serving basic pizzas, lasagne, pasta and the same deserts - most of which is stone cold and tasteless. There is distinct lack of self service options for hot beverage out with breakfast. If you want a tea or coffee then you have to join the pool bar queue during the day or the entertainment bar at night. Meanwhile there is a perfectly good bar lying empty and unused in reception (but you're not permitted to eat/drink there even if you're waiting to leave!) Evening entertainment is shocking and fully aimed at continental guests. There is nowhere near enough seating for all guests and if you are not there by a certain time then you have no chance. Your only option is to queue for up to 25mins for your 4drinks and take them back to your room (if you are allocated a room with a balcony). Some guests who stayed when we did were allocated rooms in staff section (no balcony) with no option to move as hotel was full. As others say there is no option of late checkout. You can leave luggage in a secure room and if you are lucky be given 30mins to use a courtesy room for a shower which is not cleaned between uses and you therefore encounter previous occupants used towels, toiletries and other unmentionables. In regards to "sunbed wars", I don't think I've had a holiday when this doesn't happen. Families were tag-teaming to keep their beds but some who left their stuff and went for breakfast came back to find that their parasol or table were gone to another guest. Given that there isn't much to do in the area for many the pool area is where they will stay all day. Pool entertainment was very loud and lively throughout the day but there is a quiet pool if this is not for you. The pool does turn clothes/skin green - nothing to do with sun cream as hotel would like you to believe. There are pool showers but they are so far away from the entrance to the pool you wouldn't notice them! There are great restaurants surrounding the hotel and it speaks volumes about the quality of food in the hotel when you see these restaurants full of people wearing hotel wristbands! Overall this was not worth £3300 for 2weeks and definitely not fully all-inclusive if you cannot get drinks/food easily or palatable. We honestly regret not keeping our original precovid booking for a tui suneo in majorca.

We were worried prior to arriving due to the reviews however we’re still here and enjoying ourselves and making the most of it Pros -Nice food, Good choice -Unlimited A la carte Italian very nice -Very clean hotel -No bugs / cockroach that we saw -Multiple pools -Good day time and evening entertainment -Lots of trips in local area -Scenic views -Friendly staff -Snack bar decent choice of food can’t complain -late checkout available and if hotel booked up they provide other facilities to freshen up before transfer Cons -Sunbed situation have to go down at 7:30 to wait for them to be unchained everyone’s like vultures but not as bad as other hotels on the island! -Evening entertainment spot shame it’s not away from the pool and not many tables -20 min wait for drinks at bar anytime of day but can get multiple at a time -Two single beds pushed together instead of a double -Shower no bath -Adult only jacuzzi doesn’t work which was disappointing Overview Good 3 star hotel. Get what you pay for it’s not the best place we’ve stayed but not the worst and certainly not as bad as the reviews make out. Modern clean rooms with good facilities overall. Good choice of food brilliant Italian exceeded expectations. We never had anything turn green from the pool. Overall was a good place to stay for the price we paid. Not sure what people are complaining about when they booked a 3 star in the first place. Yes there’s things that can be improved but equally it’s school holidays so they are bound to be busy my only suggestion is to employ more bar staff. We’re enjoying it for the price we paid.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Tamaimo Tropical and have to admit were very wary having read previous reviews. First thing to call out is the staff who appear to work very hard in what must be extremely trying situations; as other reviewers have pointed out the queues at the bar are ridiculous - be it the pool bar during the day or the entertainment bar in the evening, it seems relentless with only 1 or 2 staff on at any point. The staff in the restaurant area also seem to be over run with trying to turn around tables in double quick time, there is no control or order in the main restaurant and it becomes a free for all. It may be better if a maitre d guided or pointed guests to free/clean tables. The food in the restaurant is mediocre and repetitive, we never ate in the Italian restaurant but did eat out at the local restaurants which were both delicious and reasonably priced! What goes on with the sun beds and parasols of a morning is quite unbelievable! And I am ashamed to admit both my husband and I took part in the mayhem that is securing a sun bed! It is true that people hang around the chained up sun beds from about 7.30am with some guests even going as far as laying towels on the ground while waiting for the beds to be released in order to secure a particular spot! I am not sure what the hotel can do to avoid this other than making sure there are enough sun beds and parasols for each guest? Also the quality of both sun beds and parasols vary with the majority being ‘well used’. There is a strong smell of drains around the pool and in the apartments at certain points during the day which is quite unpleasant. The rooms are basic with no double beds but aircon in all rooms and a very small television. It is also true that the swimming pool leaves a greeny/yellow tinge to white swimwear. That being said the swimming pools (and the animation team) are probably the best things about the hotel! We booked through Tui and only saw the rep when being overcharged for a trip to Siam Park. Tui add a €10 mark up on each of the tickets so I would avoid booking through them, they also use a third party for the transfers to the park so could well be adding a mark up on that too, I would either book direct or via one of the local shops outside the hotel. The hotel advertises (in many places) the option to purchase a late check out but this was not available to anyone on the day we departed. This was extremely frustrating and this is the only hotel I have ever stayed in that does not accommodate late check outs. If during the summer holidays this option is not available I would suggest it is not advertised as this is very misleading and leads to a very low level of customer satisfaction. I would also point out that the nonchalant attitude of the reception staff on this point also doesn’t demonstrate good customer service, I requested a late check out the day before our departure and was given the impression this would be possible but had to come back the following morning to book only to be given a cold hard no. We were offered a 30 minute shower slot in a communal “courtesy” room which being a family of 4 didn’t give much time to wash, dry & dress. Overall we were disappointed with the hotel and would not recommend it to family or friends.

Visited here for 2 weeks. 3 children and 3 adults. Staff were friendly, helpful and always on hand to assist with any questions we had. A few spoke English very well. Rooms were always clean and in fact rooms clean and tidy when we first arrived. 4 Beautiful pools, one being a kids pool making it safe for our 4yr old to splash about in and get more water confidence. All inclusive food options were plentiful with fresh fruit available by the pool side during the day. Fantastic entertainment every evening with a kids version kick starting it off. We loved it so much we've booked to go to the same hotel next year!

The Hotel is very clean, the maids do an excellent job, in fact we left them a tip when we left! There is air conditioning in both bedrooms and the lounge which is controlled by the same remote control, so you have to go into each room separately to control the air con for that room, luckily there is a timer as the first night the kids were freezing in the middle of the night and I had the remote! The beds in each bedroom are twin which can be pushed together to make a double. The problem is if you are a couple the beds separate as there is no mechanism to fix the beds together to stop them moving so you fall into the gap. You get two English channels on the TV, there are more but only two seem to work at one time and the channel will change to a different English channel on the same channel number, probably need a bigger satellite dish! You can get a kettle in your room if you don't have one there. Very difficult to get a sun lounger, the Hotel chains them up to stop them being reserved with towels but all that happens is lots of people get up early and wait for them to be unchained (several times people were trying to get them free of the chains because they couldn't wait, crazy). Once they are unchained they put their towel on them and go back to their apartment which defeats the point of them being chained up in the first place. We did manage to get some sun loungers on a few occasions. Once the sun loungers are full people then take the chairs from the pool snack bar area and move them by the pool. So when you want to eat there are lots of tables and no chairs, the staff do not seem willing to put extra chairs out by the snack bar. There is a large variety of food but after a while it can become a bit repetitive so you do tend to eat out more towards the end of the holiday (we were there for 11 days). The food does change daily but it is mainly the same type of food. Fans of the full English will be mostly satisfied with fried or scrambled eggs, British sausages and baked beans. There is fried bread but it is usually too crisp and curled-up to be of use. Omelettes with ham, cheese, mushrooms and onions are cooked on request. However, the bacon is very strange and cut up small, and not very nice, needs British style rashers. There is an in-house Italian restaurant you have to book the day before, they do various pasta dishes (including lasagne when we went) and pizza, this is included in the all-inclusive offer. I would say the food is about right for a three star Hotel. The main problem is the drinks. They are supplied in tiny plastic cups which inevitably never get filled to the top so you end up getting three Pepsi Max cups in one visit just for yourself, other wise many trips are required. I understand the need for plastic when the pool is open but they could be larger. Also when the pool is shut it would be nice to get cocktails and beer in proper glasses instead. Not every alcoholic drink is available either (only cheaper spirits), there is a list on the Hotel web site (should be on the wall next to the bar). Sex on the Beach is called Love on the Beach and is pre-mixed in a bottle of the same name and tastes as generic as it sounds. We found a nice British Bar round the corner (turn right as you come out of the Hotel) called The Outside Inn, nice food and cocktails as they should be! We paid 27 Euros per day per person (with one day free) at the Hotel for all inclusive (1080 Euros in total for three adults and a fifteen year old who is charged at full price) but I do not think it was worth it. I would go self-catering not all inclusive unless they fix the problems with the drinks. The adult entertainment is non-existent, a few nights they had bingo! The kids entertainment is better especially the animation team which organise games by the pool and some in the evening. Overall a nice Hotel but needs some changes to make it a great Hotel.
