In general we had a pleasant stay of 6 nights at Landmar. But there are a few things that were just not what you expect from a hotel of this category. The hotel entertainment stops at 11pm and afterwards there is no bar or place with a bit music where you can enjoy a drink. Music gets cut off and you immediately have to leave the room. The lobby bar is a cold white area, which is not disigned to have a cosy evening. There are no coffee makers in the rooms, no music during diner or lunch, no trash can in the room (except bathroom)... these are easy fixes, that do change the general sentiment of a hotel stay. The staff was very nice though. Room sizes are fine and the food is also good. Nice to have an a la carte option as well.

Hotel, service and food we’re all great! Service particularly was exceptional - never waited longer than a minute or two to be served drinks at the restaurant, and the animation team was superb (especially Monica!!) - do try the activities on offer, archery and darts were both super fun! Definitely recommend booking a table at La Arena for one night as dinner there was fantastic. Also recommend visiting the beach nearby, and booking a photo session at sunset (we got quite a few super natural/non-cheesy photos)

Still currently here so writing this in the hotel. Staying 2 weeks here, first week was lovely but longer you stay more the cracks start to show. Gone hungry again today as every item of food tastes stale. They had pasta and squid rings on tonight which they had on for lunch. Avoid the pasta as always well over cooked. We paid extra for premium drinks the plus package , dont bother! We get an option of 5 premium spirits in one bar next to the lobby which has no atomsphere, every other bar just stocks the basics. This is the only bar you can also get cocktails, they are shocking, we tried the pina colada, was just juices mixed, tried the mojito was sugar with lemonade, no signs of alcohol in them both. The snack bar is absolutely shocking, they have same everyday, soggy chips, soggy pizza, burgers and hot dogs. Soon as it opens the food is cold already, if you like warm food then avoid. When checking in they dont tell you anything, they tell you to scan a qr code which tells clashing information about covid, majority is in spanish and does not inform of anything. We have found short cuts arouns the complex and another exit by asking other guests. We have not seen the jet2 rep at all, she is here 2 days a week 7am till 9am. There is also no internet, if you connect it will show you the information page as soon as you leave that you get disconnected. The sunbeds are hard to come by at the pool, towels are on as soon as it opens at 9am and often people dont show till very late in the afternoon. Tried speaking to reception staff about concerns and he just shurgged, I even said its like you dont care and he just srugged again. The al a carte restaurant your only aloud one visit not the two in the time your here. We are that fed up if it wasnt for the test before you come back I would be booking a flight home tomorrow. One thing i will recommend is the entertainment staff, they work so hard from morning to night. The cleaners are also so nice and welcoming.

We arrived mid August for our 2 weeks holiday. Myself and my 16 year old daughter. From the start we loved this hotel. It is clean, has friendly staff who speak several languages including normally very good English. It is in a good location right next to a set of shops, very close to the beach and with lovely pools. The actual hotel grounds are also very nice. Food: I am vegetarian and managed well here. My daughter is not and also did too. It is not 'English food' as it is Spain. It caters for several nationalities. It is very efficient with no problems finding somewhere to sit and orderly queues for food that were only ever very short. Whilst here we had a medical problem which meant we stayed for a month. I cannot tell you how amazing this hotel was at helping ! Miriam the customer service manager was OUTSTANDING. She helped us so much, helping with translations, contacting a doctor etc. She was so very kind and helpful. I could not have got through it without her and the hotel. The help we recieved was phenomenal. I really wouldn't have a bad word about this hotel. The animation team were also great! So friendly and happy. Always so approachable. The aqua aerobics was definitely a highlight. Basically we got so well looked after by this hotel. We would not hesitate to recommend the Landmar Playa la Arena ! Thank you
