We felt very welcomed as all staff members are very helpful and friendly which is the most important point for us personally. The manager made sure that we continue our journey safely and even accompanied us to the bus stop. Our only complaint would be about the food which took very long and you could not order everything from the...

We stayed for one night before heading out to Bwindi and it was perfect for us. It was simple but clean, comfortable and the staff were among the most smiley, warm and accommodating in all of the budget backpacker places we stayed in Uganda! The only thing that was less than ideal was that the hot water heater didn't seem...

First, let me make it clear that we have stayed in plenty of basic hostels in developing countries, so this isn't just the whining of some pampered Europeans. Starting with the good things...the rooms are OK and clean, while the dining and bar area is pretty nice. The food is also good and most of the staff are friendly. But......

Stayed 5 nights at 25,000 UGX per night. Arrived from Kampala on PostaBus (25,000 UGX) which left at 7.30am and took just over 9 hours - lots of stops and a long time to cover the last 20kms thru the mountain. Private room was basic and on the small side but acceptable. Comfortable bed. All staff were extremely helpful and...

Five adults and eight students were comfortably accommodated - the food was excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. Water and electricity a bit hit and miss, but there were roadworks happening and I guess it's all part of the African experience. We are planning a return trip and would stay again.

Nice dorms, only 4 people so really quiete! Clean and with friendly staff. Nice garden and bar, during the weekend some peeps come to play pool and drink beer, so it's perfect also for nightlife. In the next months the owner Robert will open a new guesthouse on the Bunyiny Lake, can't wait to stay there!

Decent place to stay, central location, friendly, helpful staff. Disappointed by the appearance of the rooms and how well the facilities functioned. Think I actually got a shock off one plug socket, told a staff member, who seemed surprisingly unconcerned.

Fisrt the staff especially Anita were great, always smiling and trying to help. The room was nice too with a private bathroom with hot water. I was able to have wi-fi in my room that had a table and chair. It is also a great value. Breakfast of eggs was nice and so was the filtered coffee. Would recommend this...
