Stayed for one night. The property looks very impressive. Dinner in the brasserie (Jardin D'Alice) was tasty and reasonable valuable. However, cleanliness of our room was disappointing. Bathroom had used tissue on the floor between the sink and the bath and the bath tub had several long hairs still in it. It had not been clean properly or with any... More

Superb cuisine in Le Meurin...Beautiful, modern rooms (we stayed in a Chambre Grand Luxe)...very friendly staff...pleasant hotel grounds. In spite of the distance it is more than worthwhile to stay at the Château de Baulieu when visiting Lille or the Louvre Lens Museum (where Marc Meurin has another good restaurant), the battle fields of Arras and even the Somme.

Nice location but expensive for what you get. Decent room but no fitness and no swimming pool. Nothing to in the area. We stayed for one night and had dinner in Jardin d'Alice wich was lovely and reasonably priced. Breakfast was not included and was outrageously expensive, 20Euro for bread , pastries and fruit (no eggs, cheese or meat) Hotel is... More

Lovely hotel, was surprised this is only a 4 star, the accommodation standard is excellent and the meal in Le Jardin d'Alice although classed as the Bistro was top service and great food. They had remembered that it was a special anniversary for us which was a lovely touch for the end of the meal. We did not sample breakfast... More

We love this hotel and visit as often as we can en route between the UK and France. It is a perfect stopover between Calais and Paris (only a few km from the autoroute after a long drive from the UK ) to recharge one's batteries. The staff are friendly and efficient, the rooms are beautifully decorated and very well... More

This is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. It is a very well run and exceptional place to stay and the sort of place that if you have to ask the price then you can not afford it! We got a deal through an agent when our other booking was not honoured and we were so pleased... More

Stayed here with some friends as part of a wider visit to France and Belgium on a foodie weekend. We knew this hotel had a great restaurant (we knew the chef's reputation from a previous and most memorable restaurant). What we we were not prepared for was the lovely modern renovated rooms and the service and food in the restaurant... More

We have stayed here many times before on our trips through France. A lot of money and love has been invested particularly in recent years in improving the facilities particularly the grounds and the second restaurant Le Jardin d Alice. Regrettably on the night we stayed there was only one other couple in the main restaurant. This was a shame... More

Having visited this hotel many times since it opened a few years ago we were delighted to stay again recently. The hotel has been refurbished in the reception area but remains very welcoming and friendly. Set in a beautiful park it is peaceful and tranquil with it's own moat. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped even if not... More

We had a family 2 night stay, in two lovely rooms. Room 9 was much nicer than the attic room 19. The service was amazing, and the gardens lovely. Relaxing location, easy to find if you are going from Calais South, or vice versa. The dinner in both restaurants was amazing, a real treat and experience for us all. The... More
