Gunyatoo is the perfect place if you want peace and tranquility. The owners were friendly and welcoming. No need to visit the tourist information, for they are full of advise and knowledgeable of the surrounding attractions. We stayed in a 3 bedroom loghouse with everything you might need during your stay. Debbie informed us about the 4 km of bad,... More

The location was perfect for us to walk through the forest and along the trout ponds. Our room was very cosy and clean and shows the personal handwriting of the hosts. Debbie's breakfast was very good and the dinner was extraordinary and far away of the usual. Debbie's suggestions how to spend the day were very helpful and creative. We... More

Loved our stay at Gunyatoo. It was, surprisingly, cooler than the surrounding areas. The scenery is breathtaking while staying in lovely, rustic and peaceful cottages with great service. Truly a place to rest with lots of space for the more energetic ones to enjoy themselves.

After a harrowing trip through dense mist on the Long Tom Pass and an interesting trip down The proprietor Debs and her husband was a shining light of welcome an service. They supplied us with groceries at Spar prices and provided a... More

The most friendly, hospitable family guest lodge i've stayed at in my 49 years... And Debbie's food is nothing less than 5 star! The road to get there is a bit rough in places but once you're there its all worth while. Steve Turner, Paarl, Republic of the Western Cape, South Africa
