We had our son's wedding here in June and while we had a lovely day there were several things needed to make this venue better. The wedding itself went very well and in fairness the site is good for a wedding party to stay on. The large barn for the reception was made really beautiful by the bride, groom and... More

The Farmers Barns at Rosedew Farm, Llantwit Major, comprises a large barn area ideal for functions, and has adjacent converted barn / cottage accommodation. Additionally there are 6 log-cabin type lodges that sleep between 3 and 6 people approx 200m from the Farmers Barns. We hired all the accommodation for our wedding, and our guests loved it. The accommodation was... More

Attending for wedding in Lodge 6 with my wife and 5 year old daughter. Rest of family in lodge 1. All good solid accommodation but could just do with a little maintenance to make you not notice the little things. Very warm and toasty even on a cold day, so not sure what the other reviewers meant. Actual wedding location... More

We had our wedding at Rose Dew Farm in December and had the most magical day! The venue owners were wonderful, incredibly welcoming, non-intrusive, flexible and helpful. We felt as if it was actually our home for the weekend! Perfect for people who want a homemade, informal, relaxed and non-pretentious event. It was great to have so many people stay... More

Whilst attending a friends wedding here at the complex myself and my wife stayed in one of the barns next to where the wedding actually took place. First impressions were not bad but that's where it ended I'm afraid. This place could be taken to the next level with just a few additions (which wouldn't cost much to be honest).... More

.To try to find some good points - the underfloor heating works well, good included wifi, the owners are cheerful and friendly - that's pretty much it. Stayed in unit 6 - one bedroom, wet room and kitchen / lounge area. Furniture old, broken and stained, curtains old and missing some hooks, no plates, one fork (which had food scraps... More

We booked 5 nights in one of the lodges for a short family break in the area, which was just shy of £500. We didn't receive any written confirmation, information, directions nor invoice which we had requested and were told simply to pay when we leave the property. Upon arrival we had to hunt down the reception, which was not... More

I was part of a family wedding on 29th August 2015. The day itself was lovely however we weren't aware we had been double booked on our second night. We had ordered meat from the butcher on site for a BBQ later that evening, for close family and friends as part of the celebrations, only to find out in the... More
