This hotel having such romantic and colonial-traditional ambiance. its like an oasis in the middle of the city. located near to the alun-alun (central park), we found this hotel so lively in the outside but remain the peace inside. after fall in love with the main building, I decided to upgrade my room to tugu suite. they have 2 option,... The staffs are amazingly kind. Food are great, clean and unique. Feels like home. The green plantation makes it cool. I think it the best hotel in the most pricey hotel in blitar. Antiques are everywhere, other tugu boutique hotel are in malang, bali and lombok island.

I'm not expecting this hotel will be nice at the first glance at the gate, it's a bit creepy with all the banyan root hanging over the hotel entrance. After i reach the parking lot, i can see the building is keep old ethnic style but not actually rotten. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The WiFi connection is... More

You can feel that the hotel used to be chic and stylish. But it isn't anymore. It could use a total makeover to meet the promise of the Tugu family of hotels. I choose this hotel because we stayed in Tugu Bali and visited friends in Tugu Lombok, members of the same family. But the decay of the interior and... More

This is the most westernized restaurant in town. Especially the Javanese cuisine is good. Unfortunately they still do not know how a real steak looks like. They have onIy Rendang shape beef steaks. Guess this is the only place to get a wine with your meal. Sweet service!

This hotel brings you back in time. We were welcomed by friendly staff wearing their colonial outfits. Our luggage was brought to our rooms straight away and we found a warming welcome note on our beds. They arranged a free welcome drink at our rooms and we've been shown the presedential suite, which is available to rent (it's got a... More

I stayed for one night at Tugu Blitar with my friend and 2 young kids. As always, there are pros and cons of this establishment. Let me start with the pros: 1. First impression, this is a charming boutique hotel located right in the heart of a small town of Blitar. Small shops and eateries are literally at your doorstep.... More

I spent 2 nights at the Hotel Tugu Blitar in late May, staying in one of the rooms OTHER THAN the high-end suites of the original building. My room was serviceable, period. The space was limited, if adequate. The shower was in a wet room that was separated from the vanity a bit. There was no safe, luggage rack, or... More

The staffs were so kind and friendly. In addition, there was a lot of things that we can not find in ordinal city hotels (the room where the first president Sukarno stayed, a Javanese traditional old-fasshioned tea space and etc...). Although the facillity looks old to need maintenance, this hotel should be a good place If you want to feel... More
