The hotel is super idyllic and quiet. The staff is also very friendly. I had booked HP and am unfortunately a bit disappointed. Breakfast could be a bit more sumptuous, even if the eggs come eg from the own chickens. Dinner is always fresh in itself; there are 3 courses but taste only ok. Dessert, for example, is not homemade. The facility itself is also super nice!

Hotel on a farm surrounded by animals on a large estate. Several points are to be deplored: Breakfast is not varied and changes every other day to return to the previous day! The bedding is rather poor quality. The swimming pools are not absolutely clean. The hotel is abandoned and it’s a shame there is potential with around fifty rooms. Fortunately, we did not take half board.

We stayed here for 6 nights while on our honeymoon. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds surrounded by vineyards and fields with deer roaming free. The ground are immaculately kept and there are 4 main buildings to the hotel with 3 swimming pools (2 outdoor, 1 indoor) in a very secure site with gate access from the main road. The rooms are comfortable, clean and had nice shower, balcony and TV included and were cleaned every morning.
They make their own wine on site and is very nice and very cheap and they allow you to drink by the pool.
The hotel is beautiful but lacks attention to detail. Due to the amount of German people staying at the hotel all the signposting regarding dinner and other info were in german, no English and not even Spanish! The staff actually assumed we were German and spoke to us in German on numerous occasions. Also, the rooms did not have a welcome Pack so we were left chasing down the staff who spoke very little English to find out about booking dinner, how to rent car etc.
Also the hotel is set in hundreds of acres of land with vineyards etc but there was no info whatsoever on the estate, wine production or if the food used for dinner all came from the estate. So they are definitely missing a trick on that!
If you are wanting to eat dinner at the hotel booking is essential first thing in the morning as it is a set menu. We had the paella which was beautiful. The breakfast is great and is served 8-10:15 with everything you need and served in a buffet style. Fresh bread, cereal, fruit, cheeses, pastries etc. All great!
The staff were very helpful and friendly but as I said before they shouldn't assume everyone is German.
Overall the hotel is set in beautiful location and the grounds are immaculately kept, staff are very nice and helpful. Clean rooms and beautiful swimming pools but just lacks some attention to detail that would Make the stay perfect!

We stayed in August 2022. Everything was wonderful. The location is excellent for visiting the nearby beaches, convenient for moving around the coast, a quiet place to rest after active days at the seaside. Restaurant with typical dishes and 0 km wine, produced from the hotel's vineyards. Two swimming pools surrounded by greenery. Abundant sweet and savory buffet breakfast. The coffee needs improvement but the rest of the drinks are good. Spacious room, with comfortable and clean bathroom. Silent air conditioning. Impeccable daily cleaning. Large and comfortable bed. I would stay here again!

We stayed here for 6 nights + it was wonderful. It’s just so peaceful + relaxing being here, we had the best time.
There’s 3 pools to choose from, that are never overcrowded, often you have one to yourself. The location is stunning, places in the middle of a vineyard, the grounds are kept beautifully clean, theres farm animals to go and see too. The staff are very friendly + multilingual. The rooms are great + cleaned daily. We didn’t try the evening food as we chose to eat out but the breakfast was lovely, as well as the wine we enjoyed in the evening.
We did have a car and we’re able to explore the surrounding areas which are stunning, naturally beautiful and not magaluf-esque. Cala pri and s’arenal de sa rapita are a must for stunning beaches!
We would definitely come again! Thank you, Sa Bassa Plana!

My husband and I have just returned from a short 3-night trip to this hotel and look forward to returning again soon.
The hotel is very rural so you definitely need a car to be able to get out and about. It is also very quiet, so if you're looking for a lively resort with entertainment then this isn't the place for you. This is exactly the reason we liked the place so much - lots of peace and quiet to really relax!
The staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. It seemed to be catered more for Spanish and German guests, which is normal in many parts of Mallorca but we had no problems communicating with staff.
Rooms very very clean and comfortable. We had access to everything we needed. We didn't use the pools, but there were three well maintained pools. One of the pools was undercover. Plenty of sunbeds were available around the pool.
Breakfast was fine and plenty of it. There were some cooked items each day and a selection of breads, cheeses, meats, pastries etc. We didn't eat at the hotel for our evening meal. There is only one dinner option each day, which is displayed on a board in the breakfast room. Unfortunately the options weren't to our taste, so we decided to eat elsewhere before coming back to the hotel in the evening. I would say this is the one limitation to the hotel; there are not any other bars / restaurants nearby so you have to travel or eat before coming back for the day. This wasn't an issue for us, but could see it being inconvenient for others so definitely something to be aware of if you are considering this hotel.
You can walk through the vineyards to the Bodegas Vi Rei winery, which is less than a 10 minute walk. We enjoyed doing this and picking up a bottle of wine to enjoy on our balcony. Hotel guests get 10% off in the shop. The winery offer tours and tasting, which is definitely worth trying.
I would highly recommend this hotel and we will look to stay here again. My tip to others would be to check out the location before booking - if you are looking for somewhere quiet and out of the way then this hotel would be perfect for you.

We booked this placed via booking.com after reading the reviews. We did not get any response after booking and sent several emails through booking.com and their own website. Still no response! Finally my partner has a close friend who lives nearby who visited the place and informed them of our emails. They didn't appreciate our concerns as they still did not contact us! We paid for halfboard as the write-ups said the food was good and the place is a bit remote to travel for food if you wanted a quiet holiday. We went for the evening meal and were told it was a new owners policy that the meal would only be served at 7 pm and there was 1 starter,1 main and 1 dessert. No choices whatsoever, regardless of your dislike or even intolerance of the food. Their attitude was hard luck and you've paid for it too! We explained that we felt this was not acceptable and requested an alternative. A flat No! Was the response even though we asked the morning before the evening meal. The menu was in German and we had to ask other guests to translate for us. We were made to feel unwelcome, we asked politely but received a response saying,we only work here. The buffet was stopped, you have their choice or nothing and still had to pay regardless. We were not offered any refund for the meals we missed. The other guests, mainly German, were clearly not impressed either. What a great pity a lovely place, clean rooms and good but limited food with no choices. I can not recommend a place where there is no choice of food. Families have children, people have likes and dislikes. People have allergies and intolerance to certain food. Hopefully the owners read this? Doubtful but I've tried. And have a change of heart as this will put many off, sadly.

Our long weekend here lived up to our expectations 100 percent. We wanted to totally disconnect and here we found the perfect place to do so. 40 mins from the city this rural hotel has a good breakfast, 3 swimming pools, all day bar and friendly staff. We stayed half board and the evening meal was home cooked and delicious. It’s set in a vineyard and there’s wildlife all around. The best part for us was the silence, peace and quiet. Bring a good book or two and a deck of playing cards. Wish we could come every weekend.

We booked this finca through a travel agency. Location is remote and rural. Descriptions on the website were not accurate. We had a rough time searching for it. For those looking for a relaxing vacation, thus may be the thing. Breakfast is buffet style. Unfortunately not much variation. Always the same type of melon every morning. Eggs alternate between sunny-side-up and scrambled. Same type of bread/buns. Dinner is a set course. No choice unfortunately. A meal plan is hung in the morning and one could inform the staff if there's something on the plan that one doesn't eat. I did just that. Guess what I got as an alternative for dinner? Beaten eggs. I ate that two out of 6 nights in the week that I was there. Be alert too, that even though it's announced that dinner starts at 7pm, one actually gets served food shortly before 8pm. Staff (1 lady) starts effectively setting table at 7pm. I wouldn't choose such a finca in future. I would choose a hotel offering a wider variety of food. And somewhere that we can go out in the evening easily. Llucmajor is out of no where. After dinner we always stayed in because it didn't seem worth it to proceed anywhere anymore after the Kate dinner.

GOOD: In the middle of nowhere and surrounded by vineyards; fewer than 50 guests; no background music near the three pools; no evening entertainment or animation team; peaceful throughout in a beautiful setting. Stayed half-board. Breakfast is self-service with a huge variety inc. bacon, eggs, cereal, toast, pastries, fruit, meats, cheeses, yogurts, juice & coffee. Evening meal is three courses without a choice but all was good. Lunchtime snacks (pizza, sandwiches, chips) can be purchased at the bar. Ample sunbeds & parasols. Attractively decorated & furnished bedrooms. Majority of guests were German or French and all were very friendly. Hard working staff. NOT QUITE GOOD: Only sold small glass bottles of water at an inflated price; we bought a 6 litre bottle from elsewhere for the same price as one of theirs. They don't sell ice-creams or crisps. The 3 cockerels crowing can wake you very early. Only one person on duty at evening meal = taking drinks orders, preparing & serving drinks, delivering food to tables, clearing after each course etc.etc. some nights it could be 40 minutes between courses even though the staff almost ran around........ There is a free-to-play Pool Table and a small selection of books although very few in english. We'd definitely return as the good far outweighed the not-quite-good. 😀
