Stayed here for my dive course. Room had one double bed and one single bed; was clean and bathroom decent, but the beds are a bit old so quite can feel the springs. Plus point is that it's next to the Tioman Reef Dive Centre, so walking is minimal ! Food was quite good !

I like the food although basic. It seems hygenic and nice. The restaurant is situated right on the beach. However could have been much more cosy! I can recommend their ginger beef and juices. But neon light and plastic chairs just does not do anything good to the place!

Stayed at this Hotel as diving with Tioman Reef divers which is affiliated. It's a basic hotel but also not expensive with friendly staff. It was fine for us and suited us well. We stayed in the most expensive room D,Nara in a newer block on the seafront with a lovely view (205 RM a night). They have cheaper older... More

Stayed at Babura during the Raya holidays (Jul 2015) with friends. To our surprise, the reception and restaurant were all closed and there was 0 hotel staff working during the 3 days when we were there! As we were diving with Tioman Reef Divers (TRD) which was located next door, our room keys, breakfast and lunch were provided by TRD.... More

This is a good hotel with direct access to beach. Average rooms. Comfortable beds. Nice view from balcony. Clean bathrooms. Good Wi-Fi in reception area (not in room). Negatives - Cold staff, need to ask for cleaning, they charge 3% extra for credit card payment. They used expired toiletries. Direct booking is cheaper than online booking done through booking.com or... More

We had a nice stay in this place, nothing really good nor really bad to mention. The room (the cheapest one) was just correct for a "backpacker" couple but will need some refreshment very very soon.. On the other hand, all the staff was really nice and the food in the restaurant was quite good and affordable.

Stayed in a double room. Matches the island's standards for cheap rooms but you will get the same for 20rm less down the road. Floors are dirty, and i would not lean against the walls too much... The attached restaurant serves good food, esp the big juices which are 1l !
