The hotel was very basic! We arrived in the 19th of March 2023 Lovely view of the crystal water beaches. Long way down to get there though. Sadly our experience wasn’t great. The internet was a problem, everyday of which was frustrating. I run my own business and couldn’t access emails when I needed. We were put into the left hand side of the complex first floor Room 5218 Nothing pleasant about it. Clean but not pleasant. We asked to change rooms one with a sea view. 7103, Which they accommodated. We had trouble daily with our rooms keycard. We couldn’t get into room which wasn’t acceptable as the resort has many hills and we had to keep going back to reception to get this fixed. A daily occurrence The menu wasn’t very nice. Pork on the menu daily. Not a very large selection of food to choose from quite minimal. The entertainment wasn’t great, only person who did entertain us. Was our fabulous ADAM & OTTO. (Not so much Otto. But defo Adam!!!!! We had never laughed so much with those guys especially ADAM. Very entertaining and made us laugh. Always wanted to please our visit to the hotel. If we didn’t have him I don’t think it would have been such an enjoyable experience. The bar staff were lovely, but the reception staff, incompetent, rude and had no customer service skills. We had to pay extra for our internet. 10 days cost me. £31.00 Euros. It hardly ever worked In the rooms or the bloody resort. I complained and was told by a rude member of staff Marcelo why had it taken me 6 days. I was shocked and in disbelief. We arranged a meeting with our TUI rep, who said she would talk to Human Resources and get back to us that day. Although we didn’t even hear back from her. She just smiled as we walked past her daily. I had given up at that point! There was minimal stick replenished In the rooms daily. Bearing in mind we never drank any alcohol and was on an all inclusive stay. Cleaners were lovely but again didn’t want to over step the help mark! Quite frustrating when you are supposed to be on holiday. The television in our room kept losing signal, there was hardly any entertainment in the evening. Only one good night we had was when adam had arranged a disco in the main reception one evening. It was like being at a concert, so funny and had everybody beaming with laughter snd smiles. I will never forget this very sweet person. Overall was rated platinum on the TUI website, defo not. I would rate it 2-3 stars. Exceptionally disappointed. Aside from ADAM. He really did make us laugh and was very entertaining though out the WHOLE HOLIDAY! I would not recommend this hotel, only if you don’t want good customer service. I would highly suggest not going all inclusive as the food is very minimal. We were supposed to have to Al la carte meals provided for a ten day stay. But we’re challenged when we went to book this also, And told we were only allowed one, which wasn’t acceptable having being told the first day we arrived we were welcomed to 2. Nothing nice, aside from Adam and the beautiful views. Even the guests were quite ignorant half the time. I believe it was more of a German complex. That side of the island. Too far from the airport and not much around. Oh and last but not least, the beach is a nudist beach, so if you are planning taking your children I would second guess as you have fully grown men with their Rodgers hanging out snd bouncing around. I would have been very disappointed had I have taken my children there, Not something you need to explain to a small child really, I was disgusted and overall disappointed, we didn’t go back to the beach there after. Power cuts a huge problem again daily occurrence. We were juts very disappointed. Complete back outs,

We stayed for a week here and found the location lovely, with direct access on to the beautiful sandy beach. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a small but adequately sized balcony. We were happy with the cleanliness. The pool area (we used the adults only) was clean and well maintained. We had no issues with getting a sun bed whenever we wanted one. The area was roped off until 9.30 each morning, which meant no towels were down! The bar area near to this pool was also very nice and here we enjoyed beers, pina colada and cava with a sea view. Unfortunately the big disappointment with this hotel was the food. The Siroco restaurant where a buffet late breakfast and lunch were served offered both hot dishes and cold meats, salads etc. The salads did look nice however there was nothing stopping flies from landing on the cold food and I often saw flies on the meats and cheese. There was also a problem with small birds flying in and landing on food. One morning when I was doing my toast, I turned to see a sparrow happily perched on some doughnuts next to me. If you left your breakfast to pick something else up the birds would be helping themselves to it! This is both inside as well as outside the restaurant. The safe bet here was to go for pizza straight out of the oven and never leave your food. Others in my party said the beer was ok but all 3 of the on tap wines were awful. I didn’t drink wine at all after the first try. The usual fizzy drinks or water were available in here and the main restaurant. The main restaurant was very busy unless you went early so we tended to eat at about 6.30. There was plenty of choice but the quality of the meats and fish were really poor, apart from they did offer a roast pork joint on a couple of evenings which other members of my party enjoyed. Mostly, meats were very cheap and tough cuts which were often either under or overcooked. I was also served fish that was undercooked. Again, pizza was the best choice if a little repetitive. For breakfast omelette cooked while you wait was the best choice for me, but there could be big queues. For other cooked breakfast the wait for eggs meant that other breakfast items would be cold. Two of our party of six were ill with d&v whilst we were there. Not sure if this was the food or a bug. With a few exceptions the staff weren’t very friendly and didn’t make us feel welcome. Not many smiles. I really ate very little all week as I didn’t feel confident with the bird and fly issues mentioned and for this reason I wouldn’t return to this hotel or recommend it.

Excellent hotel overall. The biggest plus you have is ECO, the chef in the mirador restaurant at lunchtime. Professional, happy, diligent and very fussy on the food he serves!! Well done ECO!! Big payrise needed or you'll lose him...

Just come back from a weeks stay in the Esencia part of the hotel, which means you get use of the heated pool and to eat at another restaurant which has fantastic views of the sea! Hotel was spotless, grounds really well kept, friendly staff, rooms cleaned, fresh towels and bedding daily. Milk and coffee wasn't replaced in the room and there was no where to get a coffee before 8am, honestly that is my only criticism. Evening entertainment was really good, games room, pool tables, sports bar. Food was amazing! all fresh and plenty of choice. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you Fuerteventura princess we will definitely be back!

Firstly the resort is on a hillside. If you have any mobility issues this is not the place for you. Everywhere for food/drink/pool/entertainment is up or down a steep incline. The majority of staff are in need of hospitality training. They appear unhappy and miserable, it makes you feel miserable yourself after a while. There was no offer at check in to assist with luggage - given the steep access to all rooms this would have been beneficial. Cleanliness was generally ok. I say ok as no-one actively clears tables in bar areas and we were served drinks in broken glasses which staff did not notice, even when we refused drinks in broken glasses there was no apology. Room cleanliness was good with no issues and the quality of the room was of a good standard. The main “bar” in the reception area was soulless. There was never any music and it was deathly quiet. We discovered there’s a “premium” all inclusive. We had booked all inclusive and were not made aware of this. It is expected that you have local spirits, but we were refused any cocktail with the exception of pina colada. This “premium” all inclusive also came with table service of drinks at mealtimes. If you didn’t have this then you had to serve all your own hot/soft/wine/beer at mealtimes from machines/pumps. Not many people it seemed had the “premium” option. We were in the Esencia area which has restricted access and a separate pool and restaurant. However. No one enforced this and if the entrance was open it became a free for all and became quite crowded and very noisy. There was also a separate dining area in the main food market - again not enforced. Generally food was ok. There was plenty of it but all too often it was luke warm. Food cooked to order was always the best option. On the last day our transfer was mid afternoon and we had to use food facilities with the rest of the resort. It was simply horrendous. Too many people, not enough tables with no one clearing or resetting, so lots of wandering going on by everyone trying to find suitable tables. We had to find our own cutlery and serviettes and we saw other people sitting at tables with used plates from earlier diners and spilled food. It was not a good environment at all. There was also closure of a large part of the resort for a wedding which would usually have been available. I wouldn’t return as there are plenty of other reports to try which hopefully have friendly staff, less restrictions and hot food.

Pros: Nice heated pool, excellent beach, quiet hotel, good service and spacious rooms Cons: uninspiring food, not much to see in the surroundings Let’s start with the elephant in the room. This hotel has potential to be top notch but they seriously have to do something about their kitchen. The food is way lower than the standard that we are used to from other 4*/5* hotels in the canaries (which we have visited several times). Not much variation but worse - over and undercooked. I fear that is was the head chef himself who seemed to put an honor in tossing around reheated pasta in some sauce. Much can be done here! Had the food been up to standard I would gladly give 5 stars but for now it’s more like 3.5 star since food is a rather big part of an all inclusive hotel. Besides the food it is a nice and quiet hotel (mid March), well maintained beautiful gardens, ok cleaning, friendly staff (though many aren’t too familiar with English). Spacious rooms. Nice pool area with pools that actually are heated to a comfortable level. There are shows and animation teams but nothing we made use off - so can’t include a review of these. The excellent sand beach is just outside the hotel. Tips: trip to nearby Oasis Park (zoo) is recommendable (free shuttle bus from hotel) Large local supermarket in the nearby roundabout.

Generally speaking, our stay was very pleasant. The hotel is nicely located and it is quite a big resort with many facilities (pools, game room, play ground, mini aqua park, animations etc.) You could see that the garden and green areas are well taken care of. Food was all right, you could always find something you fancy on the buffet. Our favourite was grill station during the lunch (area by the pool) - btw this restaurant has an amazing view on the beach. During check-in we got the room far away from the main building. Due to the fact that I was 7 months pregnant at that time, I found it hard to walk uphill to the main building for breakfast and dinner. However, I spoke to Guest Relations and they moved us the next day to the closer located room on the ground floor. It was a nice experience and much appreciated one. The very convenient thing was the little shopping area with few little shops (clothes, cosmetics, souvenirs, toys) and a pharmacy. What is more, there is also a posibility to rent a car at the hotel. Usually they have some single cars available without prior booking (always better to ask in advance but still), and price is good too, with full insurance and baby seats available. It was a very enjoyable time, ecpecially for our 3 y.o. daughter - as mentioned mini aquapark (heated) and playground were an asset. For people who prefer silence and for couples, there is also "adults only" area with a separate bar and I think this is a nice touch too. Staight from the hotel there is a gate to the beach so 2-3 minutes and from the pool area you can get to the beautiful sandy beach (windy though). I can fully recommend this hotel and this island for an easy and sunny holiday :)
