Bungalows are well appointed, hot water, quality furnishings. Wonderful balconies where you can relax. Given how remote this place is, we were blown away at how sensational the food was. This is a wonderful place to base yourself if you are visiting the Tsingy. The service is a bit spotty, but still. It is amazing.

When we arrived at the hotel, our room (private bungalow) was not available and instead we were given a basic room far from the reception. They emailed me the day before we checked in stating that there was a problem with our room and they needed to move us to another room. But when we checked in, we found out...

Meals were good and the rooms were of a good size but remained hot through the night. We arrived to find our booked rooms had been let to other people and were provided with inferior rooms for the first night. No refund was given. Despite my request for a room close to the restaurant and pool, I was then transferred...

The room size is big, you may see the beautiful sunset in front of your room. the staff were nice. The restaurant serves tasty food. No wifi (wifi not working during my stay)The water for shower is weak, warm water not stable. The power will turn off around midnight and restart at around 6am. So no charging, no light, no...

We stayed here two nights, before and after hiking the Big Tsingy. Lovely grounds and well-maintained pool with sun beds for relaxing after a day of hiking in the sun. Good food and excellent service in the dining room. Wifi was not working. There is hot water...you just have to run the water a long while before it kicks in.

This has probably been a very nice hotel but now needs a bit of care. I have just been there and the hotel environment is crazy, with a great swimming pool to enjoy the sunset. You are just in the middle of the jungle. The bungalows are spacious and you have electricity all night long. The staff is very friendly...

Thinking of what it took to get the town, this hotel was just wonderful. It was also the best place to relax after doing the Tsingy the next day. The pool was a very welcome sight after the climb, even with the winter chill, you just had to jump in. The bungalow was great even though a little dark. Fairly...

As some said the road is very dusty and full of holes. If you got fear of hights then you better skip this part as the tsingy requires you to climb over small clives. The bungalow is supposed to have generator electricity during peak hours and solar in off hours. Unfortunately we had no solar energy and the promise to...

This is one unexpected haven.I love the forest-feel atmosphere and the architecture of our traditional cottage with electric fan. Many are complaining about the absence of air conditioning unit, but i am not sure if we really need one since it is chilly even in this July weather which is supposed to be summertime. The four-poster bed is very comfortable,...

First, I am not so impressed by Tsingy, especially the long bumpy and dusty ride from Morondava. The sight, to me, is an anti-climax. So, when I arrived this hotel, while I didn't have much expectation, I would hope it is a nice place. This hotel, I wouldn't say it is not nice, but it could have done it better....

“We stayed in Bungalow #8 which was right by the main lodge. The advantage was that we were very close to the pool, restaurant and slow wifi at the reception area. The disadvantage was that the kitchen staff start preparing breakfast at 5:00am and it can be noisy. This didn't affect us as we were still on N. American time so got up early anyway, but if you like to sleep late, choose a bungalow further from the main lodge.”
