This little hotel is fairly nice, in a very nice location. Our only issue was that. Concern we raised was brushed off. We called ahead to reserve, telling the proprietress we were 3 people. She told us that the apartment would accommodate all of us. The single person in our group slept in the main sitting room. This room has... More

We were a party of 11 (3 families, 5 adults & 6 kids). I think we stayed at the chateau the same time as the reviewer "dilligaf53" (June 17). Our experience couldn't have been more different than hers (which really makes you wonder...did we stay at the same place??!). The staff was super-welcoming and professional from the get-go, accommodating our... More

After a horrendous journey down the steep and winding road leading to this venue, we received a friendly welcome and I finally got the chance to relax with a cold beer. The insane heights and sheer drops left me quite faint and dizzy for a while! we were shown to our room, right at the top of one of the... More

We stayed one night in this beautiful looking hotel set on the river Tarn. Our room was located at the top of a spiral staircase in one of the towers. The room was fair with a very large bed but no tea or coffee facilities. The light fittings were loose, only a hand held shower and the room was cold... More

The village and the Manoir were nice places to stay. I wouldn't say the owners were the friendliest of people. Maybe the gentleman was reserved. He was very helpful, and of course we were late arriving - that meant they had to stay up. His wife hardly acknowledged my 'bonjour', but she did a good continental breakfast.

We booked a room here for one night on our visit to the Gorges du Tarn. We really did not know what to expect as our email correspondence needed Google translator to complete the booking so details were lacking. What a pleasant surprise as we had a wonderful stay. The converted Chateau room was comfortable. The dinner and on the... More

We had booked two nights at this lovely chateau as part of a hiking tour of the Tarn Gorges with a group of friends. The day we walked to La Malène was wet, really wet! Much of the walk we were straddling puddles or scrambling across wet and muddy tracks. By the time we reached the hotel we were soaked,... More

Stayed for just one night. In busy village (La Malene), public parking almost impossible in peak season - but hotel has its own car park, which is not clearly identified on the web site. Room and facilities as expected in a converted Chatteau, smallish but clean and well appointed. Meal and other drink / eating facilities were first rate. Lovely... More

Located in the spectacular Gorges du Tarn. We stayed one night en route from Avignon to Millau and Conques. Nice old hotel. Welcoming staff. Do not know if English is spoken, but they were understanding and forgiving of our very rusty French! Room was nice - a little retro, but with modern bath and a lovely view out over the... More

What a delight. Third night stopover on our 2000 mile motorcycle trip. Stunning scenery in this area and a hotel which appeared to be hewn into the rocks of the gorge. Our room was quite small and up two flights of the spiral staircase in the tower, but was very clean and well appointed. The real gem of this hotel... More
