19th Century Fairytale Castle in the Loire Valley, located in the Vendee the 2nd sunniest department in France. The Chateau is a lovely building from the exterior, grounds are neglected and just grass and trees,with a decaying Jaguar car and rotting garden furniture in the grounds. The pool is in the old walled garden which is a lovely setting BUT at our visit which was booked sometime
