We were part of a family gathering in this hotel booking many rooms and having every night dinner there. From morning till evening, everything was great: service, swimming pool, breakfast dinner in its one star Michelin restaurant. We loved the fact that this family run hotel is quite small in a very quiet place with the beautiful scenery of a... More

I can't really fault the hotel part of this operation. The rooms are a bit small and as it's a small hotel you can be near the road and hear the domestic goings on. The views are as you imagined in the Dordogne, across the little river to the limestone cliffs, and the terrace for drinks is a lovely southern... More

A charming place, ideal to forget David, Angela, Donald etc.. Good food ,mood and wine . The Chambon brothers blessed probably the river at the foot of the hotel when it cut the bridge in two. Now calm and well decorated rooms are perfect to rest and discover the Dordogne area. The owner speaks perfect English and having spent some time... More

This family run establishment is simply magical. In wonderful contrast to the stuffiness usual associated to Michelin starred restaurants, there's a real informality and friendliness to this place. Not least from the family dog who gets to know everybody during their stay. The food is beautiful, the wine list extensive and the setting, priceless! We're off to pool to enjoy... More

We returned to this hotel in June, looking forward to another excellent stay. As ever, the welcome was pleasant and the service friendly. Dinner was a dream, sitting by the river and enjoying a varied, well cooked and well presented meal. Our only disappointment was our room, the window was small and the air conditioning failed to work, with a... More

We stayed here in 2012 for one night after finding it by luck on a journey back from Majorca. It was so magical we promised ourselves that we would return for longer. This year we managed to arrange a 5 night stay. It did not disappoint. The room was very comfortable with everything we needed. We ate in the restaurant... More

We stayed at Le Pont de L'Ouysse for two nights as part of a walking tour in the Dordogne. From start to finish this stay here was exceptional. The restaurant rightly gets many plaudits and we were delighted with our meals. The service from the staff was outstanding and the food and wine amazing. Breakfast in the mornings was also... More

I always research thoroughly before I book anywhere and this place did not let us down. We stayed here for my birthday for one night. A superb location and an excellent dinner in the evening in the restaurant. The staff were very friendly (as was Elliott the English Setter!). The bedrooms were nicely furnished with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was... More

Next to the Ouysse river, this family run hotel has a Michelin starred restaurant. The hotel seems to be a modernized oldy-worldy place. We were upgraded to an apartment which meant that we got a living area with a private small patio in addition to a large bedroom. All nicely decorated. We had views of the river and of the... More

The hotel has a very good location, just between the high rocks and the river. This adds to the charm of this place. Also, the hotel restaurant can pleasantly surprise you with tasty food and very welcoming service. Unfortunately, we found a very disappointing reception service, with the stuff reluctant to solve the problems. For example, on arrival we were... More
