Set in the heart of the historic Silk Road fortress town, this hotel offers compact comfort and the charm of family based hospitality. Seymus deserves particular acknowledgement for his professional yet engaging assistance provided with verve and humour.

The central location lets you travel the old town easily and the remarkable architecture makes you feel like centuries ago. The staff is pretty helpful for accommodation and guiding the city. I recommend you to request information for car rentals and daily touristic trips which makes you experience he city and region better.

It was a very special setting for a hotel within historic castle walls The room was spacious comfortable and well appointed and when we stepped out on the adjoining Terrace we were greeted by a breathtaking view over the Syrian Plains. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was easy access to the winding streets with markets, restaurants.

We stayed at the Zinciriye Hotel for one night as part of a 15 day tour of Eastern Turkey. The hotel has beautiful views over the yellow stone rooftops to the baked Syrian desert of the Arabian plate! The room was spacious with good air-conditioning, a comfortable bed and good quality shower.

This lovely hotel has been created out of a traditional house. Rooms are all very different and as they have been created out of the castle walls some have a 'cave like' quality to them. This gives them a unique charm but does mean that bathrooms and windows are sometimes small. Staff are helpful and will willingly carry your bags...

Mardin has complex streets. That's why we had hard time to find the hotel. There is no parking place. Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Every room has air conditioner. Rooms are little bit small but thats because hotel is an old house. We stayed one night, we enjoyed it.

“All the rooms are different. For example mine had a lovely little sitting room with a sofa, then an arch through to the bedroom. In some rooms the window is very small so if you want a lot of natural light make sure you get a room on one of the upper floors.”
