The hotel is in a beautiful location and we were very happy with our stay. The spa was very relaxing and had everything that you need to feel pampered. The bed was also very comfortable and great view from our bedroom.

We went here for a celebration on a recommendation. It is by a small village in the rural part of provence. The room had a wonderful view out over the valleys. The outdoors spa facility was just right on a hot day. The food was excellent and the service attentive. One to go back to.

That is definitely not a 4 star hotel! Except for the surroundings that were beautiful, the hotel itself including service, food and attitude of the staff is disappointing. They literally want to charge you for everything and they are definitely not interested in making their guests’ stay a pleasant experience. Our room was dirty, there were not many accessible power sockets and the hair conditioner must have been a body lotion! We asked for a nice view to our room and instead we were given one facing the parking. Everything was overpriced and at very low standards of quality. Too bad they do not care about service at all.

Dear Madam, dear Sir, Thank you for your review. We already passed on your comments to the several serices, we are sorry to understand how much it spoilt your experience and disappointed that we were unable to please you during your stay. Because we do care about the service! Bedrooms are cleaned everyday and checked by a member of the staff in charge before the arrival of each guest. You booked a Confort Room , and the rooms with the panoramic view are the Prestige Rooms, our web site is very clear about it, there is no thing hidden. This is not the king of experience we expect from our guests, so please be sure there will be consequences. We do appreciate your feedback and do hope we can welcome you back in the future. Kindest regards

Who wouldn't book to stay at such a lovely location and in such a magnificent building? When you see the exterior shots you dare to dream....... Sadly, once there, things were only very average. Perhaps hiding behind Covid rules (?) we were left to take our own luggage to our 'Comfort' room. This was like stepping back into the 1970's; the room was cramped and the furnishings were dire. Neither modern luxury nor French country charm! The extra-priced view we had was of the car park! I shudder to think what a 'Standard' room looked like, or where it was sited. We had two gin and tonics sent up, which arrived in very small glasses and with dirty stirring spoons, and we later found that these had cost us €60 !! (Gordons gin and Schwepps tonic!) We then went down to supper where the food (barring the exceptional desserts) and wine choice could only be described as very limited and the standard as rather ordinary, with the setting (once again) from the dim and distant past. There was no atmosphere at all and we didn't eat in again during our stay. In that secluded location, the hotel was quiet for sure, but devoid of any ambience. When we departed we were left reeling by the extras on our bill, and with a distinct feeling that we hadn't really had a memorable experience; which is rather sad and the very opposite of what we had hoped for when we booked.

Dear Madam, dear Sir, Thank you for reviewing your stay with us. Our team constantly strives to provide excellent customer service and create memorable moments and it extremely disappointing to hear that we did not do this during your recent stay. You Booked a Confort room and they are all facing the entrance of the hotel, which is a beautiful tower, and further the car park indeed, but in a beautifull park full of trees, this is not a supermarket car park! Our concept is a charming family Home Hotel in Provence ("BASTIDE"), and not a extra modern Hotel, but we can easily understand somepeople don't apreciate it, it is a matter of taste... About the Gin & Tonic, you ordered DOUBLE GIN TONIC, we can understad why the price is doubled. our restaurant is traditional and not gastronomic, we don't hide this, we are sorry you didn't ap^preciate it. Again, my sincere apologies and I would like to assure you that poor service is not typical for The Royal Horseguards Hotel. I am hoping that you may give us another chance when you are next visiting Provence. Kind regards,

Location is excellent, being at the edge of Tourtour so you can walk to the village in a few minutes. We had a room with a balcony and an incredible view. The room was very spacious and had a seating area. The decor is a bit dated but that wasn’t an issue. The staff are helpful and friendly. The spa area was very good as was the swimming pool. The patio areas to dine outside were lovely. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the meal was superb. I totally recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay.
