Nice and charmish hotel in a modern annex of an old mill, very good location, friendly ands attentive staff, rooms are nice and have a good size. Restaurant had a rather good level. It worth it for week end close to Champagne area or a stop over. We have not used the spa

We absolutely loved the hotel, which was very quaint as it is an old converted mill and done extremely well. Our room was a good size with a private balcony overlooking the sensational grounds and we had a bathroom with a bath. There was a lovely heated outdoor pool, but we didn't use it & a sauna & spa. The...

We stayed here for one night on the way to Calais from the south. We booked the Duplex Suite because one of us has dodgy shoulders and sleeps in a crucified starfish position so small double beds do not work. The suite is slightly out of the main hotel building and up a set of steps which seem to be...

A pleasant location in a small village but the hotel appeared a little tired and the Dinner menu we found rather uninteresting. Our room was very cramped but OK for one night; the mill is still there but probably not in working order.

Just 2 young staff worked so hard doing reception/bar/restaurant and breakfast. Employ more. Food just average. Bar too small. Mosquitos ghastly and nothing done to help situation. Impossible to walk out at night and windows and doors open to attract them in. Dirty laundry left in hallways to bedrooms for 1/2 a day. NOT Chateaux & Hotels collection quality

The first thing you see as you approach the village of Dolancourt is something that looks like a radio mast. It is, in fact, one of the rides in the Nigloland theme park, which takes up more than half of the surface area of the village. The houses in the village seem to testify to inequity, with most being elderly...

We stopped here for a night and generally enjoyed the stay. the hotel is a mix of old and new with a stream running through it and a working water wheel. food was good rather than great in the evening and staff friendly. Our only issues were that the room was stuffy but the noise from the water wheel and...

As parents, grand parents and both of us still working fulltime we needed to escape just the two of us! Did we find the wright spot ? YES WE DID. Hotel as well as restaurant gave us a real friendly service, clean room and very good food. Of course we visited champagne cellars but the region's nature, history, and villages...

We just finished a long weekend at Hotel Restaurant Le Moulin du Landion with a mixed group of 9, including a teenage kid and a baby. We loved the place. This part of the Champagne district we did not yet visit - but we sure will return. Champagne here is tasting good too and the nearby lakes are a great...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Around 40 kilometres from Troyes, this former eighteenth-century water mill, which has been entirely renovated, welcomes you to its authentic and relaxing setting. Use the “Aqualis” space at your leisure and your pace; enjoy the hydro massage bath, the Finnish spruce sauna and the multi-experience shower in order to awaken your senses. The dining room overlooks the river where the water wheel, which still works, is a real attraction. The rooms are all comfortably equipped and have private balconies that open up onto the wooded park of Landion. In winter, gather with your friends or family in the convivial atmosphere around the fireplace in the lounge bar; in summer, the riverside terrace or the garden and its heated swimming-pool provide places to relax in. ... more   less
