Great location on a small island close to many nice diving and snorkeling spots. And all the dineing takes place at the lodge, all guests eat together, which creates a great atmosphere. But, we did the mistake of makeing a reservation with a lodgeroom, which was literally in the bar area. We could hear everything. We tried to upgrade but...

As long as you read the reviews before coming, you will love it! The island is small, the meals are family style, there is muck off the beach so don't expect to swim right out (you can jump off the pier if you'd like), and you need bug spray. Other than those minor negatives, everything else is a plus! Very...

The most relaxing holiday ever as well. The cabana over the water was lovely and very clean. You wake up to the sound of water and the birds singing. Staff were so helpful and professional. Not commercial in any way, very personal. Quite often we'd be the only two on a boat dive. Our gear was prepared for us, we...

Thank you for sharing your story and giving others a glimpse into the St. George's Caye Experience. We are fortunate to be able to provide a quiet, peaceful atmosphere, but with so many activities conveniently available - and so attractive to young honeymooners and more mature travelers alike. Happy travels!

Me and my boyfriend recently got back from St. George's Caye and we still can't get back to reality. The place is amazing! We stayed in Cabana 10 which is a great location to the beach and main lodge (although the size of the island doesn't really offer a 'bad' location). We are not divers, as a matter of fact,...

No tv...no alarm clocks...no roads..no cars...just an amazingly peaceful experience. Staying in a thatched roof cabin listening to the natural sounds of tropical birds, breathing in the clean ocean air on a small quiet island only 20 minute boat ride away from Belize city is unforgettable. ALL of the staff work are very attentive to your needs. Truly a relaxing...

My family of divers spent a week at St George's Caye. We had a great time. The first night, the kids stayed in the Lodge rooms which are the most reasonable for those on a budget, they were roomy and comfortable. They moved to a cabana on the bay side, we stayed on the ocean side. All were comfortable. The...

Thank you for sharing that St. George's is excellent for non-divers AND for divers. We love the mix of guests and the lively conversation and laughter. Yes, we have sand anchors now and our entire crew is very careful about how the dive boats are anchored around the reef. Thank you for your input.

We stayed for 5 nights in one of the six over-the-sea cabanas. It was very clean, with plenty of room for 2 people, and a very comfortable king-sized bed. It was well-ventilated so you could get a nice gentle breeze with the large overhead fan, but also had an A/C unit that worked great if you wanted use it. I...

After staying in San Pedro for a week with a group of friends, Gina and I needed a place to relax and unwind. We couldn't have found a more amazing place to do it. The food was outstanding, and if by some chance you didn't like what was on the menu, they were more than happy to fix you something...

We booked our first family trip to Belize for 2014-2015 X-Mas and New Years. We spent 6 days at St. Georges Resort and couldn't be more pleased. The propietor, Cap'n Ron, was super helpful in booking several reservations for us in the country of Belize. We were traveling with our 2 teenage boys, 16 & 19. My husband and I...
