Once again the staff at this lovely resort have made us feel so very welcome. OK ....due to Covid not everything is as before, but it's not a big problem. New pool bar staff are so lovely and friendly and their new waffles are deliceous. Excellent value for money...... Look for specials board. The resort is well maintained and the gardens are very pretty. We enjoyed a coast walk to San Blas but not everywhere has reopened yet, and you'll need your vaccine certificate.

We are here at the moment and having a great time, very nice well equipped apartment with lovely sea views. Golf del Sur is quiet at the moment, the Pool Bar in the hotel is open as is the Wild Geese pub which is only a 2 minute walk along the road. We had a problem when we checked in as there was a misunderstanding with our reservation, but it was all sorted out really efficiently by Jennifer,Eduardo and the manager within half an hour. Great Hotel, great staff and lovely weather. What’s not to like?

When we arrived early December 21 to start with no onsite restaurant or any of the normal bars open. When they finally opened slow service at pool bar both for food and drinks meal's half cooked when sent back not fresh meal just put back in frying pan warmed up reserved. Poor menu choices for evening meal just one three course menu staff unwilling to change and very expensive only eat breakfast and then unable to do poached eggs wife ordered them even showed them Spanish for poched and she got boiled in the shell's. Rest of Santa Barbara staff again Spot on friendly and helpful even Go out of their way to assist. New supermarket great friendly design and staff pleasant and helpful

Very poor customer service and their attitude is “contact diamond resorts” who never reply to emails or calls. Daniel at reception kept saying “I’m trying to be your friend” we didn’t want a friend ……… we just wanted him to train his staff to understand the process, of when you change your departure date of the second week, due to the flight being changed and give the required notice by email to hotel and diamond resorts, you are not going to pay for a week having been there only 2 days of that week. Regular smell of sewerage as our apartment door opened out onto it Restaurant closed due to covid but nobody told us that, prior to departure. Di then pool bar constantly busy and food not great either Shortage of staff Staff using rudeness as “we are tired we worked till 2am last night” when asked to change a flat pint The majority of the staff are very helpful and accommodating I do understand how difficult these times are but we like must work hard for a break in the sun and do not want to go on vacation and be sorely disappointed. Last time we will use diamond resorts very very disappointed.

We arrived at the hotel today to be informed we had double booked, So I explained how could this happen as when we were last here in September I actually asked at reception was there a booking for us to be told no , so I then went and made our Xmas reservation , so I asked them to cancel one as certainly don’t need two rooms only to be told NO I just can’t understand how the staff can be so unhelpful and unsympathetic . so I continued to complain and the manager came and gave me diamond resort telephone number because he couldn’t do anything he really didn’t care So I called but guess what it was closed This is the worst customer service we have encountered and we are staying here for three weeks and just feeling totally distraught and completely let down by the Santa Barbara where we stay at least 3 times a year . I can’t believe they can treat there guests in this way

When making bookings with a third party, you would need to contact them to have a guaranteed confirmation of your booking, as these don’t always reach on the same time in our internal program.
