Wonderful time enjoying all the beautiful areas of the castle. Town very small but had a nice meal at a local restsurant. The public rooms in the castle were very pleasant and comgortable. We would definately return to this livation

Ideal for en route stop from south to north of Spain. Renovated castle with all modern facilities, friendly and welcoming staff, cosy bar area with a very good restaurant serving local specialities. Will have to return in the summer to try out the pool.

Oropesa is no charming village and besides visiting the medieval castle there is little to do there. However, we highly enjoyed our stopover at the Parador. The setting and building were truly fantastic, as well as the various lounges with comfy sofas, fireplaces and a "out of time" very charming atmosphere where we loved our late evening drinks.Very relaxing. Orepesa is not conveniently situated but once there, this stunning castle ,in the middle of a charming village ,is spectacular with views of the valley and mountains . The rooms are spacious, with antique spanish tiles . We had a room with a large four poster bed The several lounges are large and filled with antique furniture . The staff...

This Parador is great to experience the mediaval live in a nice and comfortable setting. Don't miss the restaurant and the village, the people are very friendly and the surroundings (olive gardens) are a must.

Arriving very late evening and despite the hotel being visible from miles away on the hillside, overlooking the town of Oropesa, it was a little to find the entrance to the hote down the narrow streets. However once I arrived, courtesy of directions from some locals guys, the hotel is very impressive with its high walls and arched gateway into...

Very charming village, which the Parador is on the heel The parador is beautiful, big halls with antique furnitures The room we got was in a good size, but was very hot (Nov.). The window was small so even when open still it was hot. Dinner was very good, and service was excellent. Breakfast was OK, (we don't eat meat...

One of the best paradors we have had the pleasure to stay at. Facilities were on the whole excellent with friendly and helpful staff throughout. Location is first class with nearby particular interest.

This was the first ever Parador and it is a beautiful place to stay. The accommodation is in a building that was part of the 13th century castle and we were lucky enough to have a room overlooking the castle itself. The building and public areas are very large and there are lots of places to sit and chill. The...

I don't often give 5* reviews to places, but the Oropesa Parador deserves it. A fantastic experience from start to finish. You really feel you are staying in a little bit of Castillian history, but with all the modern home comforts attached. The room was bright and in a turret at the far corner, but still managed a good view...
