The best nights stay we've had in a long time. Mike greeted us and told us that our rooms were ready with key in the door to keep in line with social distancing. The reception was covered with drinks and snacks so that we wouldn't go hungry and when we got to our room there was a goodie bag for our dog with treats and a tennis ball. The room was so clean and they'd supplied us with plenty of fresh towels, tea and coffee supplies and hot water for a power shower. Normally hotels aren't prepared for guests with dogs but Mike went above and beyond to make us all welcome. If you're in Lancashire, stay at the Lawrence. Beautifully decorated and arranged rooms to make you feel comfortable away from home.

Really fantastic hotel! Quality nights stay, (away with work) beautiful rooms with very luxurious en suite. Staff were very helpful given COVID restrictions - which were adhered to by the book - and breakfast was super good. Will 100% stay again!

We ordered the meal and had the option of having it delivered or picked up. Prawn starter - delicious . Main course Beef wellington and the schnitzel - vegetables and salad to accompany dish - good size portions. Strawberry meringue dessert. All dishes well packed and labelled. Shortbread hearts and sweets were a lovely additional touch as was the balloons attached to the prosecco. It was such a treat when we are unable to visit restaurants. Thank you for making such a wonderful evening.
