The hotel is beautiful, it's only a few years old. Checking in was easy, taken to room which was spacious, bathroom very nice and clean, shower huge . The cleaning ladies work so hard from dusting down the sun loungers of sand on beach to tidying up around all the pools then moving on to cleaning of the bedrooms then on to cleaning the hotel its self. Very friendly staff. The maintenance team worked hard each day to sort out the beach area esp after a huge storm and the beach was a hell of a mess, out came the jcb digger and sorted. The restaurant was clean . Breakfast good, lunch ok but dinner I found was repeated regularly. If you needed any clean cutlery good luck as there was a lack of it. The waiting staff really didn't understand basic english when asking for things. 1 Lobby bar staff, rude, gave wrong drinks and when asked again for another drink he rolled his eyes and was huffing about it. The young lady was helpful. I was told by other holidaymakers it ran out of glasses of an evening a few times. Cant comment about entertainment apart from I heard it from my room, same music being played. Entertainment team worked hard to keep kids amused in the day time . The shops on site are basic and dont hold much variety, dont bother taking turkish money as they sooner use euros. I found the same in ozdere and kusadasi, shop owners will work it out for you but price signs in euros. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel to get to these areas. Check out, they take your room card and that's it, no interaction to see if you've had a enjoyable time. Would I go back....no. love turkey this just wasnt meant to be.

The best aspects: Excellent room cleanliness and view from an upper floor family room. Reception staff speak some English, are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Clean site and beach with easy shallow access to the water. Absolutely nowhere to go or see, if that's what you want. Calorie laden opportunities to increase obesity throughout the day, if that's what you want. Watermelon or nothing if you don't and this was during the low cost fig and orange season (terrible) Family rooms are on the ends, are of good size, excellent views but tight on storage. The worst aspects: Window rattling noisy for most of the day 'till past 11 p.m all over the resort. You can also hear the Sunis Efes music 'till later. Terrible food, stodge or sugar laden unfortunately with little or no flavour and over cooked. Salad bar the only way to avoid this. The worst 'meat' kebab ever. During my stay the entertainment team had 2 tapes which they played over and over again. The Hotel and F&B Managers would avoid any contact with their guests virtually ignoring them even when walking past. You would see them eating together along with the chef during guest service. Plenty of guests seeking to maintain or increase their weight. Family rooms are on the ends, are of good size but tight on storage. Other things: Ozdere is a simple local quick bus ride away. Get off at the Paloma Pasha resort, walk down to the promenade and chill out, it's all there, with all facilities. Walk to the end of the Promenade and into the harbour to find 2 hidden gems of a restaurant. Yup, 'genuine fakes' are readily available unfortunately. There are 2 useful supermarkets to get fresh fruit etc. Overall a good 3 star experience but could do so much better with a little more effort.

A good 3 star hotel. Excellent room and reception staff. Very basic carbohydrate and protein food with limited unchanging wide variety, basic quality . Very little taste but there is fresh salad and basic fruit at all meals. Half the guests are mid European. Overall many guests are clinically obese. Even the fruit juice is powdered and sugar laden. The low cal options are tea, coffee and water. Even the diet Pepsi was loaded with something. Managers eat with the guests in the restaurant and do not interact with the guests, in fact go out of their way to avoid any eye contact at all. Little if any English is spoken so brush up on your Turkish, Bulgarian or German. Rooms on the upper floors are of a reasonable standard with excellent views. Avoid floors 1 and 2 as this resort is noisy everywhere, really NOISY for most of the day until past 11p.m. Entertainment is basic and repetitive. Family rooms are spacious but with very limited storage. Good beach with easy sea access. Sufficient sun lounger during September. Finally it is close to nowhere but an easy dulmus ride into Ozdere which is wonderful, especially down on the promenade. Go for the day as there are free changing facilities and the beach is excellent. I was going to give 3 stars but kept in mind that this is a 3 star resort I'll give it 4. So near yet someway to go to be of a UK standard.

The hotel itself is great, food good & good selection you cant say service is bad because it is not but if you have been to Turkey before this is not like that, as english is rarely spoken, so not much banter, as is usually the case! The hotel is set around 15 mins from local town of Ozdare which has a market on Saturday's, supermarket few shoe/clothes stores, bars & restaurants, didn't see any money changing shops, this is done at the jewellery stores!! Most things are priced in Euros. As was the case in major town Kusadacie around 30min away, which has a Bizarre countless bars/ restaurants and a bit more English!! We stayed for two weeks & spoke to probably only 10 other English people in the whole time we were there! Most were made up of eastern European / German & Turkish! If you want a holiday where you dont want much to do this is the place! You cannot fault the hotel its just a bit cut off! I suppose you could get taxis but would work out expensive if you did it on a regular basis!!
