Name of this facility is Tres Lunas, a Casa Rural. It is a wonderful unique establishment. We were met by Maria, the owner, who helped us with lunch and wine when we arrived. The streets are not paved; they are sandy, and most buildings have hitching posts for horses. This is a town with many horses, and the owner's daughter...

El Rocio is a good base for exploring Donana's avifauna and this was perfect: self-catering, rooms serviced daily (though just bed made, bin not emptied nor sink cleaned); wifi in communal areas, big kitchen. The hotel was fine in terms of cleanliness, good room and bathroom and special amenities like well equipped kitchen if you plan on self catering. Make sure you know EXACTLY where your hotel is located as this little place is not your average foreign tourist stop! The hotel is a very easy walk from the bus stop but not if...
