I love this hotel. It is a former monastery dating back to the 17th century and the building still has many of its original features. The courtyard, which they call the patio, is the heart of the hotel and it is absolutely exquisite. I recommend asking to eat there rather than in the dining room, which is a little sterile...

There is only a 50/50 chance that you get served there, two times in a row they informed that the kitchen was closed and that no drinks will be served either, not sure how they got the 4 stars !!! I've traveled 20Kms to be turned down !!! My advise, go there and take pictures and leave. They have lost...

My son was married in the chapel at Al Moraima. The guests started to arrive from abroad on Friday for a check in & tapas at the castle. Spectacular views & a fun meet & greet. Saturday cocktails & amazing tapas with live music followed by a wedding ceremony in the magnificent chapel with a string quartet. Outdoor tables with...

My husband and I got married at La Almoraima hotel in August 2015 and I do not have a bad thing to say about this hotel. It really is breath taking when you pull up the long drive way and see the beautiful scenery at this unique hotel (a converted convent). All of our guests commented on how stunning the...

Beautiful hotel (an old convent refurbished) keeping the origins. I was here in low season so no noise and not crowded. I believe in the high season could be a little bit more messy with potential to be very noisy. Walking around is impressive and worth the slow pace with time to enjoy.

Visiting in May was clearly outside the peak period for the hotel but we received a warm welcome. The corner room we had was cool with excellent facilities - not only two wash bowls but a choice of shower - of course I went for the one with three shower functions! The courtyard is a wonderful place to sit -...

La Almoraima is a small hotel originally built as a convent by a duchess in the 17th century and located in the natural cork oak park in Castellar de la Frontera in Andalucia, Spain. It has a small number of rooms, a very good restaurant, a charming courtyard with mounted antlers of deer shot in the vicinity and a picturesque...

Recommended! Can eat outside or inside. Alternatively you can also have a coffee in a Spanish patio. You can have 2 beautiful different experience 1 by night and 1 by day. Children can play without supervision since enclosed area.
