When I arrived at this B&B the girl at the front desk, who had a very limited english, were not able to give me even a copy of a map. Disappointing when the tourist office in the village is closed. Later a woman, who spoke english, were able to hand me a photocopy of a map. She in general delivered... More

We spent four nights at this charming little hotel, on our three weeks trip in Spain/Portugal. We got a really nice room, I think it was the biggest hotel room I have ever stayed in, with a marvelous view over the countryside. Very friendly and welcoming personel, helpful with information of all kinds. The breakfast is good, maybe a bit... More

Room gave a lot of hope on entry, but the smell of the bathroom and the restaurant resulted in not paying for the meal and being threatened with the police by the chef who could not present a meal as listed on a simple menu (steak so Cold it didn't melt butter) and dauphinois potato, chips instead). Ruined a great... More

We stayed here one very rainy wet night in November as part of a cycling holiday in Andalucia. Jimena de la frontera is a very historic atmospheric small hilltop town. The rain did stop for long enough to see the castle which was great, but when it started raining very hard early evening we gave up ideas of eating out... More

Nice, quirky place. Room 4 is very big with a huge bed. Had to search for my wife in the morning. Bar and restaurant downstairs is really good. The tapas were really special. Much better than what we tried elsewhere in this town before. Some parts of the room are waiting for some maintenance work.

We spent three wonderful days and nights at the Casa Henrietta. The hotel is located in a beautiful, quiet town of Jimena de la Frontera near Spain's Costa del Sol. The room was large and comfortable with a great view of the country side. The staff were great, friendly and helpful. The hotel has a great little restaurant with some... More

Location on main street of quiet town had on-street parking. We were lucky to get parked right outside. Hotel was full of character. Large room with doors to small balcony and stunning views over countryside. Restaurant was cosy, food was good and great value, which was fortunate as there looked to be be very limited alternatives outside. Breakfast was interrupted... More

Lovely charming little hotel at the mid end of a hill, with gorgeously appointed rooms all decorated differently, some overlooking the Jimena Valley with spectacular views, a very quiet village so you only hear the birds. Breakfast is a simple but delicious affair, Spanish bread with butter and extra virgin Olive Oil, with tomato and garlic. Delicious coffee and freshly... More

Visited on a Monday evening with family, 6 of us, and had Tapas in the restaurant. Great range of tapas including vegetarian, fish and meat followed by fabulous dulce de leche pancakes. Service very friendly and prompt. Loved the location - view from terrace to the hills was entrancing and dining room a very relaxed environment. Thanks to the staff... More

Spend 3 nights at this hotel. We had room 9 which was very well appointed with a great terrace with fantastic views. The whole property needs some TLC with many thinks broken or not working, some redecoration is desperately needed externally (this was being done in the terrace) and some touching up of the walls in room 9 where salt...
