This hotel did not live up to the expectations as given in their on line information. No pool, no safe in rooms, gym only allowing one person in at a time. Check in staff did not advise we had to ask for our room to be serviced so no added tea/milk. Room overlooked the railway line, yeah, no triple glazing and double glazing did little to quieten the room. Bathroom dirty, toiletries? Two bottles of soap attached to the wall! Air-con non existent. No cleaning, a chocolate wrapper sat on the stairs for 3 days. Breakfast was just about edible but the 'chef' was using his fingers to transfer the hash browns from the cooking tray to the serving dish, no gloves. When I challenged him the aggressive reply was 'there is no problem, my fingers are ok'!!! Also spotted him transferring pastries from one container to the serving basket with his fingers, while he held the tongs in his other hand!!! Then the bacon caught fire, alarm sets off, smoke throughout the dining area, the supervisor had great difficulty resetting the alarm. She was very apologetic when I told her about our issues, but, had I been a hotel/food hygiene inspector I would gladly have shut them down on the spot. We may have put this down to experience but certainly one not to be repeated.…
Poor service. No AC and facility management hasn’t done anything for that during stay on 3 days. Uncomfortable bed. Shampoo and hand not good. Philipino duty manager was very rude. Waste of money. Please don’t book.
Checked in, and almost immediately had to change rooms because the external windows would not close and had their handles removed??! Air con in the room didn’t work. Second room has exactly the same issue - windows wouldn’t close and air con not working. Was told by reception that non of the rooms aircon works and they offered me a fan instead. Pretty poor hotel and poor service - avoid.
I understand demand reflects pricing and it was FA Cup Final night. However...... I made a poor choice in rushing to secure a room for thge Cup Final. Firstly it isnt good for Wembley Stadium as the nearest tube stadion on the correct line is an hour walk. Thats not the hotel's fault, although it does mention convient for Wembley on it's web description. Anyway, long story short, it was a warm day and evening in London on the 14th May and the Air Con in our room didnt work, also the window wouldn't open. As it was 10pm when we checked in after the football final we thought it was maybe futile to kick up a fuss. The hotel corridors and the room we had were run down and in need of decorating at least, and refurbishment at best. Twin room had the beds togther, which I've experienced when space is tight but there was plenty of space so why? One cup for a twin booked for two people. One pillow per bed and no extras. One coathanger. Two remote controls for the TV, one with no batteries. Ripped quilt covers, although in respect everything was clean. Shower crap and a curtain rather than glass. Anyway, paid £10pp at reception for brewakfast. It was ok, all you can eat british and continental, I'm not going to criticise as it seemed the two lads responsible were trying their best. This is a £45 a room digs at best, inflated rates due to London and an event. I don't recommend unfortunately.…
I had a nice stay at the Ramada by Wyndham hotel, the room was comfortable and the staff at the reception ( Kate & Yinabi ) were a great help. They have made my stay at the hotel more enjoyable. Thank you again!
Great location for what we needed friendly staff rooms could do with a good clean under beds and carpets , it was very reasonable in cost , could do with more plug sockets though but for a family would stay again if was in the area !
arrived for a function nearby. very slow at check in due to lack of staff went to room allocated on second floor as soon as we opened the door the smell of smoke was awful. Back done to reception to wait again to be served. was given another room Bed was clean. the room in need of attention. very dusty in bathroom. The shower was ok and has a hand rail to climb in but I felt a bit unsafe. was worried I would slip Breakfast was a nightmare. lovely staff. all two of them working so hard. we had to clear table ourselves. had to ask for glasses for juice. cutlery had run out and was given plastic. no mugs for coffee had to ask for some. Then the coffee ran out. I felt so sorry for the two members of staff who done there best. on a good note. when we eventually settled down to eat it was lovely. the best bacon I have had. well done chef. . I would not like to stay here again unless things improve. the chairs in the seating area in reception in need of a good clean. Mary coogan…
Booked an executive room for my son and I, hoping to get a comfortable clean room. with an extra bed for my son. The bed provided was still under the main bed, I was told I must pull it out from under the bed. There was only a sheet on the bed and no duvet. The aircon was not working, temperature set to 24.5 degrees. The inside pillows are absolutely disgusting. After an hour, we were moved to another room which was a completely unserviceable room. Television was not working. Aircon also not working, No toilet paper in the bathroom. We had to call management for the fourth time. We have now got the windows open in order to get some air in the room. This leads to our privacy being completely invaded as we are overlooking the parking lot. Just completely disgusting. Seems like the expensive payment and hard earned money means nothing to this company. Rooms and accessories are in need of a good revamp. The ironing board in the room was also from the arc. Walls and carpets inside both rooms are dirty. Linen didnt fit the beds and photos on the website are not a true reflection of the rooms…
I & my wife stayed at this hotel for 23 days & were treated like a family by the staff. Our stay was made comfortable by their helpful staff especially Ms Kate, who was always pleased to help. She was not only prompt, polite & helpful, but had instant solutions to any problem that we encountered. Her pleasing personality, poise & grace was one significant virtue at the reception counter. Good hotel, great staff, excellent Ms Kate.
Had to call over and over again for days until someone picked up the phone, was told I could cancel my booking (severe unexpected health issues) and that they would speak to a manager and call me back to confirm, they didn't. Had to call again and again, next staff members directed me to contact a booking company that was nothing to do with my booking even though he insisted it was, obviously when I called this company I was not on their system at all. Tried calling again and was told I could change the date instead of cancelling and they'd call me back. STILL HEARD NOTHING
