Detailed Reviews
Very homely and good value for money. There isn't much accommodation in the area so we really fell on our feet staying here. We'd had a tough cycling day, parallel to the M74, so it was wonderful to find somewhere so quiet and peaceful. Isobel and Robert made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom down the hallway. Breakfast was delicious. They also have storage space for bicycles.

Overnight stop on journey from Cornwall to Northern Scotland. Comfortable farm b&b not far from M74. Peaceful location, good night's sleep in pleasant room. Enjoyable breakfast. Recommended. For an excellent pub meal nearby try the Riverside Tavern at Kirkfieldbank.

Immaculate but very dated fussy décor. Spotlessly clean and a very good breakfast. Lovely welcoming couple and not too expensive. Shared bathroom and toilet. Very quiet, allowing a good nights sleep. Very near Glasgow and not too from Junction 9/10 of the A74 (M)

The accomodation is all on one level, being a bungalow. My double room was clean, had the usual tray provided & I had a good nights sleep. The decor is dated but couldnt really be faulted otherwise. There is a large bathroom with separate shower & bath & a wc. There is also a further wc at the end of the corridor. Breakfast was the usual full english & all the normal cereals/toast/juices etc.
My stay was actually June 2012

We stayed here as we were on our way to Fort William it is a large homely accommodation set in beautiful grounds and scenery. The lady and gentleman that own this establishment are so lovely and welcoming and could not do enough for us , great, comfortable spacious rooms with a huge bathroom and seperate toilets for guests.Vast amounts of tea and coffee in the rooms ,a flat screen tv and towels provided. A hearty breakfast in the mornings are included. The rooms are beautifully decorated all to my vintage tastes, cannot wait to go back when we travel back on Wednesday, highly recommended, close to local amenities.

We stayed at this lovely homely farm in June. Isobel and Robert are the sweetest couple who make you feel very welcome. A little dated decor but it just adds to the charm of the place. Will definitely be using this b+b again

A homely, warm and comfortable B&B run by a sweet old couple. The room was warm and clean with everything in it that you would expect and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was also good. Only downsides were the decor which is very outdated and shared the shower/bath/toilet fascilities. Overall was good value for money in a calm countryside location.
