This beautifully set park is situated in Snowdonia National Park at the foot of the beautiful Aran and Arenig mountain range a mile from Bala Lake. It is on the edge of the picturesque village of Llanuwchllyn and enjoys panoramic views of stunning scenery and is an ideal base to explore the areas many attractions including scenic walks (some of which start straight from the park). The shallow sparklingly clear river Twrch runs alongside the entire length of our park ans is adjacent to the quaint Llanuwchllyn Narrow Gauge Railway Station with its open carriage journeys along the lake. A great way to fully appreciate the stunning scenery the area has to offer. A great way to fully appreciate the stunning scenery the area has to offer.

Just back from my second stay at Bwch yn Uchaf and it was as wonderful as my first. Such a nice location. Camped right next to the stream with lovely views. The site is well kept, the showers are clean & hot and it's a very good price. I will definitely return.

Clean, friendly. Hired a fire pit. Very reasonable prices and able to stay for just one night. Fields surrounded by sheep and lambs and right next to railway. Lovely local pub the Eagle. Communal fridge useful to keep a few small bits.
