The staff here were lovely but everything else was well below par for the price (£100+ per night) the rooms were shabby, curtains didn't close properly leaving big gaping gaps for light through the night, bathroom desperately needs a clean and a paint, bed was two singles pushed together, tv on it's last legs, carpet dirty and in dire need...

We stayed for one night here. First thing we had to find staff to book in as there was no one in reception. Our room was quite good (Room1) facing the ocean and quite large. The bathroom was exceptional and big enough to hold a party in! Bed was very comfortable. Internet was good. We did not eat there at...

I visited in March 2016 with family for my 30th birthday. Sorry for the list, but here goes... They booked us in under the wrong name, there was NO beer, they didn't have what I ordered for starter or main course, no wine list so the waitress wrote one down on a bit of dirty note paper (complete with spelling...

We only stayed for one night but I would recommend this hotel. It was spotlessly clean and the staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and service was great. The hotel is only a short walk from the main shops and bars and had good parking.

Clean, tidy, good food and bar with great view. Friendly & helpful staff The only thing that let's it down was the cold room (1) and small details like broken dimmer switches, lamp shades and 101 different coat hangers!

We had room 1 which is a large room on a corner with great sea views. The light fitting had 3 missing shades and 2 duff bulbs so could clearly do with a bit of an upgrade. Everything else was fine and the room was clean.

Having previously had some lovely meals here, I was disappointed to see that the standard had fallen. I had heard that they had a hygiene rating of 2 but didn't expect the food quality standard to have fallen quite so much.

The hotel is typical of British sea side accommodation of days gone by. It was clean and comfortable but the beddington and towels were not of a high standard. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good both evening dinner and breakfast the next morning and the staff were friendly and efficient.
