Well its the dreaded duo again off to visit the boss (mother ).Weather a bit dicey but the welcome we received at the pub made up for it .The place has had a bit of a refurbishment since we last visited. All the rooms have been redecorated and given names. We stayed in room 11 again which which is our... More

Just returned from 3 nights at this pub, really had a great stay. The room was of a good size and was very clean and tidy. There was a slight problem with the pressure of the shower and it kept going hot and cold, I think they were getting someone in to look at it. The food was exceptional, we... More

Have visited this establishment on many occasions and have yet to be disappointed. Wine by the glass a trifle expensive, but they have a great choice of beers. Choice of really olde worlde bar or very pleasant restaurant, lots of old photos to view while being served by attentive and friendly, polite staff. Their burgers are fabulous as is the... More

My parents moved to Porthcawl about a year ago, so whenever I visit them we always go for a drink and a meal here, fantastic staff, always feel welcome, food is amazing and the pub it's self is lovely, would highly recommend. It's wonderful during the summer as you can sit out on the square, and so cozy during winter.

Just spent one night here, but felt it necessary to post a review. Rooms were spacious and clean. Superb cooked breakfast. Previous evening had a meal in restaurant which was very good quality. The staff, were young, but very polite and helpful. Thoroughly recommend a stay if you are passing.

Excellent service. Very relaxed atmosphere. Food great and not rushed. Great to spend a lunchtime with family and friends. No loud music so you can have a conversation. Easy access to the M4. Can sit outside on a nice day. Some parking spaces but located alongside a narrow road

Had a relaxing overnight stay here. The evening meal was very good and the breakfast the following morning was freshly cooked to order and really tasty. Our room was pleasant and overlooked the village green. All in all, good value for our money.

I enjoyed a lovely 30th birthday meal with friends (which made up for what can only be described as a disaster in Fairways Hotel Porthcawl the previous night!!). Food good, service great, no complaints. Only slight criticism is the price of a glass of wine. I would definitely recommend a visit.
