This is a very magical place in the heart of Calatabiano close by the beach. We had a very nice spacious and clean room with a view of the beautifully maintained gardens. As well this place has a great service, good bar and a peaceful pool area. Thanks to all the pleasant staff who made me and my childhood friend feel so special. We would so love to come back... I highly recommend it to any of you, definitely a must. ♡

Hotel's Favorite
Stayed for 1 fabulous week in this beautiful castle nestled in stunning grounds, kept immaculately! We didn’t want to be in the throng, but close enough if we wanted to dip in and out and that’s exactly what we got. The hotel is in a quiet location, near to the beach with an enormous and spotless pool. We only ate in the restaurant once as was a little formal for us, but delicious if you like fine dining. However, their best asset by far are the staff. Without exception, they could not have been more friendly, more helpful or more amenable. They arranged restaurants, taxis and trips on an almost daily basis and always with a smile. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel. Maybe we’ll return for a wedding one day!!!

What a rewarding stay! Nestled away on the premises of this Castello you’ll find a little piece of heaven. For us it was ideal to escape busy lives and relax by the pool. On top: Lush green gardens, with privacy assured on this vast, very clean areal with its secluded rooms, superb service, and immediate beach access. The staff is very supportive, always friendly and accommodating, and makes every wish come true. Especially excited to see the transformation of the rooms to a light, modern style with an ongoing luxurious feeling. We’ll be back!

We stayed in this wonderful hotel for 4 days at the end of September. It was our first visit and will definitely not be our last. The staff were brilliant, so helpful, welcoming and totally professional. We had asked for a cheese plate to be left in our room as we were arriving too late for the restaurant. The selection of cheese and fruit was fabulous, beautifully presented and accompanied by a lovely Mt Etna wine. Our room was very comfortable and beautifully designed and decorated . We loved the way the rooms are laid out in the grounds, like little private villas. The gardens and pool area are stunning with a lovely poolside restaurant serving excellent lunches. Breakfast in this hotel is a real treat to look forward to. The choices are a perfect range and the quality superb, they will also change or adjust for any allergy with no problem. Dinner in the courtyard was memorable, candles lit in the ancient walls beside a fish laden pond , happy service and superbly cooked food. The wine bar is a piece of Sicilian history, terrific wines and service at very reasonable prices. The spa is small but really good with very good treatments and a short walk from the pool. The ambiance of the hotel and the relaxed atmosphere created by the superb staff makes this a really special and magical place to stay. It has become our dream destination.

Our family, we stayed at this hotel for 2 nights last week. We wanted to be closer to Etna and Taormina. The only nice thing about this hotel is maybe the parking and the castle where is the reception. But all of the hotels in the area and outside the city have parking, so this is no advantage. Unfortunately, I couldn't say anything nice and some reason to prefer this place for the night. It's hard to believe that this hotel has 4 stars. Maybe he had many years ago. After reading the reviews on Booking I expected much more from this hotel. This hotel should not have 4 stars. the room photos were obviously taken by a very good photographer when the hotel was still new. The reality is completely different. The furnishings were old and worn. The bathroom and toilet smelled bad. And the breakfast! Wow! The breakfast was the worst of all the hotels we stayed. We really didn't get that kind of breakfast and such service at the other 3 and 4 star hotels. And besides, you'll have to wait for it to be cooked. All this cannot be described in words, you have to go through it to feel it. Many farms offer at times better service, quality food and hospitality. The hotel has a pretentious and expensive restaurant with satisfactory food quality. Nothing more.
