We thought this was a nice hotel, quite big and dining room full and busy in the evening but dont know where everyone goes during the day as the pool area was virtually empty.
Rooms were good size, beds comfy, air con worked efficiently but it was nice to not use it and open the balcony doors at night. Large bathroom with good shower, always hot water, towels and bed linen changed regularly. Toiletries provided. Free safe in the room, well done, get so annoyed when there is a charge. Good wifi connection.

The pool is a pleasant area to sit, a bar in the corner and decent beds and umbrellas. The pool has several safe access points and was a pleasant temperature; pool towels are 3 euros from reception.

You are given a blue card and all your expenses are added to it, when you get the printout after each purchase it shows the total owing, which is useful.
The menu for evening meals was excellent: big table of antipasta, then soup or pasta, main courses of various meats or fish then big spread of desserts, fresh fruit and ice cream. Breakfasts were ok, big selection of usual continental choices but no egg station, just some apology for scrambled egg and eggs in water, assume boiled but hard or soft? Who knows? It was also disappointing not to have the selection of fresh fruit which was available in the evening in the breakfast buffet.
It was pleasant to sit at the pool bar in the evening as there was often a musician but service was very slow and it wasnt clear if you had to go to the bar or if it was table service, seemed to vary. Prices were reasonable for a hotel.
On a Monday there is a huge street market literally outside the hotel. There is a small supermarket to get water etc 5 mins walk and a couple of bars, the beach is sbout 10 mins walk.
The hotel has a nice atmosphere and staff are all very pleasant and helpful. We stayed as part of a tour with Riviera travel but would happily stay here privately.

First time in Sardinia and would absolutely recommend. Hotel is in a perfect location for short walk to local town, harbour and nearby beaches. Checkin was efficient and a particular shout out to Chiara who went out of her way to make us feel welcomed, showing us around the hotel and safely to our room. We had an early morning flight and was pleasantly surprised when our room was ready ahead of the standard check in time.

Room was well appointed and very clean although the fridge didn't seem to get cold and the phone to reception wasn't connected. Daily room service was excellent and on the one occasion we had a problem with a blocked sink, it was fixed very quickly.

Food of a high standard with plenty of variety and freshly prepared. Was nice having a variety of local Sardinian dishes. Restaurant and bar staff worked tirelessly and were all really pleasant and would go out of there way to help. Was really nice having a dedicated table in the restaurant for the duration of our stay and not having to look for a table at meal times.

Pool area is fantastic and always clean. Life guard keen to help if needed. Children's disco in the evening was great fun and Giulia did an amazing job. Only small comment would be to speak also in English when addressing the children so non native children can understand what is being said.

Hotel staff so very helpful from 'Housekeeping to top Managers'. Restaurant/bar ran like 'clock-work'. Immaculately clean in all areas, staff still adhering to Covid mask protection. Would like to have single rooms offered rather than paying for a double when traveling "solo". Central location in town, but was slightly "out of season", car hire was best option to see the stunning scenery this area of the Island offers. Will be returning a.s.a.p.

We picked this hotel on reviews and the reasonable price. Never having been to Sardinia before it was pot luck on its location but we are glad we chose this hotel and resort. The board basis was in reality just below all inclusive but we didn't realise this at time of booking! Local drinks are free between 3.00pm and 10pm also a buffet is provided at 3pm( Jet2 holidays) Rooms were good, we had a fair sized balcony and nice shower room. Room was cleaned regularly and the maids were friendly. All meals are buffet style with plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this hotel.
The resort of Cannigione we found was the best compared to other local ones. There are plenty of boat trips available and there is a small beach the hotel provides a "train" that takes you to a larger beach about 15minutes away. There are local buses that can take you to markets etc. Our only downside is we found no excursions further afield compared to other holidays we've had in Italy we found this a bit restrictive. However this hotel and resort we would recommend

Visited Blu Hotel Morisco for 1 week 18/10/2022

Hotel in good location, wouldn’t class as 4 * as some areas need updating, eg exterior paint peeling and toilets in reception broken and damaged.
No local info in hotel room or lobby. No tea or coffee facilities in room. Food not up to 4* standard.
Stay was half board plus but we were made to feel inferior as were given smaller wine glasses as opposed to paying guests who were given large glasses and snack with each order.
Very quiet as out of season apart from noisy local bar on Friday & Saturday night with loud music playing until 2:30am.
LOVED Sardinia, but would not stay at Blu Hotel Morisco again!!

Response from BLU HOTELS, Altro at Blu Hotel Morisco
Responded Nov 3, 2022
Dear Customer, thank you for your feedback on your stay at our Blu Hotel Morisco. We care about our customers'opinions. First of all, we would like to specify that ordinary and extraordinary maintenance works are constantly scheduled. As far as the lack of kettle, indeed, our rooms don't dispose of those, and therefore this service isn't indicated in our room descriptions. We are sorry if this aspect impacted that much the quality of your stay. However, we are struggling to understand your comments on the wine glasses, most of all, how a big or small glass can make you feel inferior. Your stay was premium half board and included several drinks, of course during the dinner or at the bar one guest is always free to order a drink by the card and pay for it, and cocktails as much as wine can be presented in different cups or glasses. The last thing we want to do is to make our guests feel inferior. We hope that, overall, you enjoyed your stay in Cannigione di Arzachena and we look forward to welcoming you again in the future. Best regards.

Reading the reviews before our trip I thought I’d leave my own as I feel some of the reviews were a little unfair. The hotel was spotless the staff worked tirelessly day and night, and nothing was a problem to them, they are all so kind and friendly. The pool was excellent and there was sun-beds available all times , which is fantastic as we are not that the type of people who enjoy getting up at six in the morning to fight over sun-bed’s that’s not our type of holiday. The food had plenty of variety even for our fussy children, the village was lovely and we enjoyed a wonderful boat trip from the local harbour. We would return again in a heartbeat.

We had a fantastic holiday in Sardinia, and Cannigione is ideally situated. Hotel accommodation was good as was the catering which offered lots of choice for both breakfast and evening meals. The Pool was excellent and very clean. The only negative factors were that the air conditioning in the rooms did not work that well and not at all for two days, but in the evening there was a nice breeze if you left the balcony doors open. You are provided a card on arrival to purchase drinks and snacks which you pay for at the end of the stay. We were informed on arrival that we would have €120 credit due to having the half board package. Unfortunately on leaving, the hotel would not deduct €120 from our bill as we did not book through Jet 2 holidays. Please bare this in mind if you are informed of this credit on arrival.

We have just enjoyed a 7 night break at the Blu Morisco on a half board plus basis via Jet2. We were impressed with the friendliness of the staff, reception and bar staff were all lovely and aim to please.
Our room was cleaned every day and the air conditioning was working well throughout our stay.
You are allocated a table for dinner in the restaurant which you keep for your entire stay. At breakfast you can sit wherever. We found all the food to be really nice. Plenty of cereals, fruits, yoghurts, croissants, toast, plus usually bacon and scrambled eggs at breakfast. Dinner usually had several options of meat or fish dishes plus pasta dishes and risotto.
Breakfast is available from 7.30am to 10am and dinner from 7.30pm to 9pm.
Examples of prices at the bar (Sept 2023) are 5.50 euros for a large beer and 5 euros for a glass of white wine.

Advertised as a 4 star. I would say that’s optimistic. Although you can see some improvements on the hotel there is a long way to go.
There are numerous health and safety issues like cracked toilet seats, non slip grips on pool steps missing and other things. The room was ok but impossible to sit out on the balcony during the day as no shade from the sun, the food was a buffet and although looked good, would of tasted better if hotter. The half board plus which meant free wine and beer from 3-10 was ok but wine on offer was awful and beer not much better. Management were prowling the restaurant putting staff on edge when there was no need really because the staff were doing a commendable job. As for information about the resort that was non existent in the hotel, nothing on show.even from Jet2. The beaches around the resort were ok although the sand very gritty.. we did enjoy our holiday there but not a place we’d go back to

Very nice staff, everybody was kind and the cleaning was very good. Location is great, you can reach many good restaurants, shops and a small beach by foot.
We loved the little train going from the hotel to the beach.
Nice and big swimmingpool, always sunbeds awalaible. However the poolbar was not the best. Sometimes we had to wait very long for our ordes and the selection of snacks and icecream coukd be better. And the decoration /look of the poolbar could be more cosy.
The breakfast was fair, nothing more. We really missed some variation in everything; fresh fruits, cheese, meat, bread. We loved the coffee and the fresh water, how ever it is such a shame that some guests doesent understand that they shouldn't put their drinking bottels on the tap :-/ It is not the fault of the hotel that people don't respect the hygiene standards and there was a small sign saying that it was'nt allowed., I suggest you make bigger ones by every tap,
We liked our room and the view. The aircon could be a bit better though.
All in all we have had a nice stay in a clean hotel with a friendly staff.
