The hotel Kleiber is easy to find and positioned in the centre of a lovely, quiet village, which has a slightly Bavarian feel to it. The staff were nice enough and all spoke English quite well. The room was a reasonably generous size for a family of four with good facilities, including brilliant air conditioning, a god-send during the heatwave... More

We have enjoyed two separate overnight stays at Hotel Kleiber this year (in May and July) on our trips to Italy. The hotel is comfortable, welcoming, and has a very good restaurant and choice of wines specialising in local cuisine, plus good coffee and breakfast. The bonus for us was they accept dogs, and there is beautiful countryside for enjoyable... More

This small owner managed hotel is about 5 minutes from the Metz Strasbourg motorway so a great location. Rooms are clean and cosy but it is the food that makes this place stand out. The owner is a brilliant chef with a classical leaning but a light touch. This is very much a place for foodies. Slightly more expensive than... More

What a delight! We booked this hotel as a one-night stop over on our journey back from the alps and would happily do so again. The village is tiny, ancient and if you took away the parked cars, you could feel like you'd really stepped back in time. Our rooms were comfortable, well furnished and bathrooms functional (if a little... More

I rarely totally blast a hotel or restaurant, but simply just never go back, except when the service is horrible. We spent 21 days in France and Germany and were treated with nothing but respect and the staffs went out of their way in almost every case to be helpful. Not at the Hotel Kleiber, though. The only staff person,... More

This was a pleasant surprise, hotel in a very good location for a trip back from the mountains. We had a lovely room, extremely spacious and although right on the road, very quiet. The hotel restaurant serves local dishes to a good quality

We stayed here on our trip back from Rome where we participated in the 110th aniversary of Harley Davidson. The rooms in the annex next door are very good. The closed garage for our dear bikes was perfect. Dinner and breakfast was very good as well. Can highly recommend!!

We have stayed here several times before, if touring nearby we always call in. Very good value for money. Nice traditional hotel with well presented rooms and bathrooms. It is the only hotel and restaurant in the village but the pretty town of Saverne is only a 5 minutes drive away. Breakfast is continental with lovely fresh bread and local... More

We stayed one night on our way back to the UK. The staff were friendly and put us in a spacious, clean and modern family room (in the annexe next door). We had an excellent dinner in the traditional restaurant plus there was a comprehensive continental buffet breakfast the following morning. The hotel is in a very pretty village in... More
