We stayed at this hotel for one night and swear that was more than enough. Obviously one has not high expectations when going to Vama Veche, but when your room rate is 250 ron, you do expect some value for that money. First of all the room (no 209) looked as if it hasn't been used for long with spider webs and dust all over. The double bed (which was actually 2 twins pulled together but not held) had really bad sheets as it had square sheets which didn't cover the whole sleeping surface evenly. There was this big corner without anything on it. I also happened to catch a bed bug walking on the mattress. The bathroom was also bad, the toilet seat was dirty, I had to wipe it myself.. As I've said before before, we were in Vama and expected really loud stuff happening outside. That's why we went there so we are not uptight. We got out, had a few drinks but it was totally surprising upon return to have the same noize in the room with the windows either closed or open. Extremely bad soundproofing.. Add to that the slipping between the beds and no blankets and (still chilly in early june) and you've got yourself a ruined night after a feww drinks. I really wouldn't recommend this hotelfor all of the above and especially after the next morning when I asked for receipt and finally gave me one after i talked to a so called manager. I don't know if i was just unlucky and got the worst room that they give to people who only spend one night there, but definitely i won't be returning.

The great thing about the hotel is the location - it is in the middle of everything: beach, restaurants, beach bars ... This comes with a disadvantage too - during the night it is quite noisy, but who goes to Vama Veche for a quite night? It is also disappointing that the owners require payment in cash, even though they do have a POS which always worked. Last, but not least, price is way too high and services are average and below.

You know the feeling of going into an old house, afraid that the walls will crumble down on you..that's what this tourist trap feels like. Simply because it is located on the beachfront does not make it attractive. In low season, it looked eerie and neglected. The rooms decided not to clean themselves up. And most likely the staff agreed to their decision. Don't even try to eat here. Do not even look at the menu. Just... go away. Leave this hotel be. It does not want you.

Located on the beach which was nice. Everything else was terrible. Terrible rooms. Awful bed. Unpleasant and rude staff. Not clean at all. Overly expensive for very poor quality. Avoid at all costs!!!

Close to the beach (if you have a seaside view, you should feel the sea in your room :) ), but very small parking lot, no elevator so you would have to carry your luggage to the 3rd floor, not to mention that if you're a light sleeper, you won't be able to close your eyes because of all the noise. It's true that i found the "only" room available in the eleventh hour, but still $100 / night is too much for the room we got: - no seaside view (basically you would see an open field and a cool-looking hotel with an interior pool next to it you would wish you were actually there) - room too small (the receptionist said it's a very good room, its "cosy and warm") - you can hear every noise through the bathroom door - no toilet paper refill - NO WIFI on the 3rd floor Also the lady from reception was rude over the phone when she called me to confirm having a vacant room, i was using my phablet and couldnt hear very clearly and she started yelling over the phone to confirm already that am i coming or else she will give the room to someone else... But besides ALL that, i'm glad i found a place to crash, and close to the beach also
