Pros: We enjoyed our stay at Zoetry Marigot Bay. The resort is pleasant with comfortable rooms, delicious made-to-order all-inclusive food, and surrounded by lush greenery and the bay. St. Lucia is a naturally beautiful country and the weather was perfect during our stay. I highly recommend trying all of the restaurants at Zoetry. I definitely had my favorites but would suggest trying them all so you get a feel for the resort. Sunshine (sushi chef) at the sushi restaurant prepared a really lovely shrimp and steak lunch that we had to order 24 hours in advance. It was wonderful and definitely worth the wait (highly recommend). You're able to get sushi and poke whenever the restaurant is open; however, this special dish must be reserved in advance (it's included in the package, you just have to order/ask). The rooms are serviced multiple times each day and they provide turndown service. This was a nice touch in ensuring the rooms remained comfortable during our stay. The hotel provides a small bottle of mosquito repellent. You'll definitely need it and I thought it was nice that they provided them in the room. All of the staff members are kind. A few folks who went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay are Olivia, Sunshine, Shabba, and Cherubin (all are wonderful!). Cons: We arranged for an off-site excursion with one of the employees. Even after negotiating the price, we found out that we still overpaid. If you want to do a catamaran tour directly with a local company, you can book through Joe Knows. They took us by boat to the sulphur springs mud bath, a waterfall, snorkeling, and we also received lunch at a local restaurant (food was very tasty!). The tour company also provides refreshments on the boat (rum punch, beer, etc.). The company has a Trip Advisor page too so you can look them up for pricing (which is cheaper than what the hotel person charged us). The bathrooms definitely need to be updated. The pools close at 6pm. This wasn't a deal-breaker but it was a bit of a surprise for me so figured others would want to know as well. While I enjoyed my stay at Zoetry, I have to say this is not a 5 star resort. It is comfortable and has a lot of potential, but it is not a 5 star experience. At least not yet. Some steps that are still needed before this can be considered a 5 star experience include updates/remodeling in the bathrooms, maintenance of the premises with an eye on details (i.e. fix all of the chipped doors/walls/furniture across the premises, sand the floors so everthing isnt all scratched up, etc), proactively ensure no fruits are out to attract ants, improved efficiency during check-in, refreshed room decor, less cumbersome service, etc. Tips: - Bring lots of bug spray for the mosquitoes. - This is a relaxing resort so if you're looking for lots of entertainment and partying, this is not the place for you. - Try all of the restaurants. The food is made-to-order (no buffets) and tastes much better than typical all-inclusives. - The pool closes at 6pm, so plan accordingly. - There's a small beach across the bay and a Zoetry staff member will take you there via pontoon (about a 30 second boat ride). The shuttle boat goes back and forth throughout the day so you just need to go near Hurricane Hole to hop on. Be sure to venture over to experience it. Drinks, beach chairs and towels are available at the beach (included in the all-inclusive) so you'll be comfortable while you're there. The beach is small but lovely.

If you want a hotel where you can relax with none of the heavy activities like the other hotels. Then this is the hotel for you. The rooms are huge and clean. The atmosphere is laid back and quite. We had the master suite with the hot tub, a must have. The staff was very friendly. Everyone was always smiling and will to do whatever it takes to take care of you. Room service was great meals came on time and was hot. Our room was cleaned everyday and they also did a turndown service every evening. Please note the plugs are European so you will need an adaptor to charge your phone. If you're a light sleeper then you will need an ear plug. Nature makes a lot of noise during the night. There are 4 restaurants. Three of which were open. There was also a desert store that had just about everything you want. Cake, ice cream, cookies etc. The beach was not on the property. But there was a free boat to the beach. Note all beaches on St. Lucia are public. The hotel had employee providing drinks and chairs. My only con is the food. The picking was slim and it seem to a European friendly menu. Even though the location was up the mountains way up the mountains there was a enough transportation to get to the city which was 45 mins. It will cost you $170 per person to go to the Friday night fish fry. Overall the experience was great.

We really enjoyed our stay at Zoetry. It’s a more relaxing resort, which exactly what we wanted. The room was very clean, could use some updating, but no major issues. The staff is so wonderful. They really go out of their way to make you happy. Rochel was the best butler and kept us smiling the entire time. Bartenders Andre, Mark, & Glen had the best energy and made really great drinks. The ladies from concierge, Karenza and Kerissa we’re so helpful from the planning process and during our stay. All excursions were planned so smoothly. The dining staff, Nile & Alexander, were the best! They made sure we we’re taken care of. We love the staff. The food was top notch and no food was wasted. Spa treatments made us feel brand new. Recommend Zoetry for any couple.

I'm really surprised to see less than 5 star reviews here. My husband and I have travelled most of the caribbean, some places we have returned 3-4 times. This has been the best experience by far. A different experience than your regular buffet all inclusive trip but amazing none the less. We paid $8500CAD as a couple to stay here. We had the highest level room overlooking the whole marina. PROS: - The best food(5 star dining) meaning you also wait for the food to be freshly prepared. Dinner takes the same as it would at a 5 star restaurant but also tastes the same. Sometimes 30-40 minute wait for food. Nothing was stale, always made to order, super fresh. Even very hot when it arrives, fresh from the oven, and delicious, etc. Be sure to check out hurricane hole, by far the best food. - The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to accomodate your needs. We upgraded to concierge service, which made our stay 100% easier and better. I can't get over how amazing the butlers are and how easily they made our stay. Highly recommend. - The rooms are stunning, we had a room overlooking the marina. Beautiful view. - The beach across from the resort is beautiful, if you head over the rocks with snorkels, some amazing tropical fish, crab, lobster etc. - Quiet, peaceful, very relaxing. Minimal children present - Great gym and wellness center(steam room, sauna, massages, cold plunge etc) - Pools are not heated but we went in everyday to cool off and it felt fine. CONS(minor cons, definitely not something that ruined our trip by any means): - The food doesn't really rotate. You are choosing the same food menu for the whole 7 days, from 3-4 different restaurants. The menus aren't big. They can at night run out of menu items but it only happened once. - The rooms overlooking the marina are a lot of walking, we downgraded after day 1 as it is about 4-5 flights of stairs to get to your room. Mainly because you are on a mountain. Not great for someone with mobility issues - We did not come with our kids but luckily because this isn't a resort ideal for families. - The only truly disappointing thing, they are unorganized about return to airport. Nobody is informed. We were told we would be picked up at 230pm, which is about 4 hours prior to our flight. They showed up at 1pm for our bags. - The loungers by the pool are NOT supposed to be reserved however, some entitled people will wake up at 6am put their towel there and come back at 10am from sleeping to lay down for the day. Then leave for 3 hours for lunch and come back. It is pathetic. The staff(while we were there) enforced a "no reservation" rule as it was getting out of hand. We did move some peoples stuff twice, not the same people, and they were very confrontational(pushed my husband) about it until the staff told them "too bad". They reserved the lounger around 6am, went for a mountain hike for 4 hours and returned back to expect their seat to be available. So entitled. When there are only 5 or 6 available. Don't be afraid to claim a spot if someone is taking advantage. Mostly older entitled people doing this. Thinking us youngins didn't pay the same price or more to stay at the same resort. Eye roll* Overall, we highly recommend this resort. Keep in mind, this is not your typical resort, it is a health and wellness resort. Very quiet. Mot many activities, meant to be time away from the real world. We give it 5 stars. You won't regret your stay. We will also return very soon

Dear K W, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback on your recent stay at our resort. We are truly delighted to hear about your fantastic experience and appreciate your thoughtful review. It's wonderful to know that you and your husband, seasoned Caribbean travelers, found our resort to be the best you've experienced. We take great pride in offering a unique, non-traditional all-inclusive experience, and we are thrilled that you appreciated the difference. Your positive comments about the food and dining experience are greatly appreciated. We strive to provide a five-star culinary experience, and it's fantastic to hear that our freshly prepared, high-quality dishes exceeded your expectations. We will certainly pass on your praise to our culinary team, especially the recommendation for Hurricane Hole. We are also grateful for your kind words about our staff, particularly the butlers and concierge service. Our team takes great pride in going the extra mile to ensure our guests' needs are met, and it's heartwarming to hear that they made your stay even more enjoyable. The stunning room overlooking the marina, beautiful beach, and serene atmosphere are indeed some of the highlights of our resort, and we are thrilled you enjoyed them. Your feedback on the minor cons is valuable to us, as it helps us continually improve our offerings. We will take your comments into consideration to enhance the guest experience, particularly with airport transportation and the issue with lounger reservations. Thank you for highly recommending our health and wellness resort, and for awarding us a well-deserved 5-star rating. We can't wait to welcome you back soon for another unforgettable stay. Best Regards, Chris Clermont Sales Executive Zoetry Marigot

We stayed at the Zoetry on September 11-18, 2023 for our honeymoon and it was an amazing experience. When we arrived, they greeted us with fresh, lemongrass towels and the check-in process was very smooth. Throughout our stay, we received excellent customer service and loved going on the excursions that the resort offered (definitely do the sunset cruise! And the one with the mud bath and waterfall! The lunch spot on that trip was my FAVORITE food on the whole trip!! It was a creole-style buffet with the owner’s mother’s recipes… incredible *chef’s kiss*) Speaking of, the food at the resort was excellent, too! I highly recommend the coconut shrimp at the Hurricane Hole. We loved laying by the pool and ordering the sushi and other items on their lunch menu. We spent almost everyday by their gorgeous pools with that stunning view. As others have mentioned in their reviews, be aware that the resort is quite literally on the side of a mountain so it’s very steep and hilly if you have any mobility issues. Also, the beach is not what you typically have in mind for a beach… it’s a small island in the middle of the bay and you have to take a ferry over to it. We still enjoyed it, but just something to keep in mind if the beach experience is important to you! Also be aware that people will try to sell to you the whole time you are on the beach. I took a book down there and I think I got through maybe one chapter since people nonstop kept talking to us trying to sell us rum coconuts lol. But that’s not the resort’s fault. The beach is not owned by the resort, so they don’t have control over the people coming up to you. So we mostly preferred lounging by the pool! I will throw in too that there is nowhere to get things that you may have forgotten (sunscreen, toothbrush, etc..) so be sure to pack everything you need! Granted we did go in the off-season so the shop that’s normally open was closed… but the only other place to get something you need would require a taxi. Anyway, other than that, a 10/10 experience. I highly recommend a spa service! I got the “rejuvenate” package and it was phenomenal. The staff at the spa was so professional. Everyone at the resort was nice and helpful…a few shoutouts to Karinza (sp?), Cheruby, and Stephanie! Although the entire staff was incredible, they went above and beyond to take care of us. Everyone made us feel right at home. It truly was the honeymoon our dreams. We can’t wait to go back!

Zoetry Marigot Bay is a lovely option in beautiful Marigot Bay. The resort feels very private and secluded, and the staff are really lovely. One of our restaurant Hostesses, Hilde, was a joy and always greeted us with kindness and enthusiasm. In fact, this is how most of the staff are at this resort! The service is great and the resort is very unique, lush and beautiful.
