We had a mixed stay. The property is outdated, specifically the rooms. The rooms are large, but need to be updated and cleaned. The room rate is high and the rooms should represent this. Also, many things in the room were broken and needed fixing one we were already in our room. We must have called the front desk a dozen times over our two night stay. No one ever apologized and a few times they didnt send anyone to fix the problem after saying they would. The most disappointing part of of our stay would have to be our interactions with the staff at the resort. The staff didn't smile and seemed miserable to be working at the hotel. After staying at two other resorts on the island, where the staff was both in short of amazing, it was so disappointing to come to Marigot and experience the opposite. I rarely leave reviews, but I have to say it was a bummer to end our vacation at Marigot Bay.

Started and finished with a great luxury taxi by Lesure Sightseeing by Ronnie Stephen 7587170145 or leisuretoursntransfers@outlook.com😁. Personal assistant gave us great recommendations for activities and the pools are wonderful. Our room was a little dated but clean. Favorite day out was a private water taxi to sugar beach by Shashamane. Food at the hurricane hole was good at good value.

I hate writing a bad review but feel I must on this occasion. Given the 5 Star rating and also the price we were so disappointed with this hotel. Arrived late at night due to a delayed flight, however there was very little in way of welcome and room felt unclean when we entered. The next morning no-one enquired or asked if we needed to be shown around and we had no idea of our bearings at all. Room was tired, dated and dark - even though we had the penthouse. Breakfast was often too busy to get a table (had to wait for up to 20 mins!) and food was average all round but expensive. Staff were nice enough but very little attention to detail and a serous lack of personal attention or help - the ‘personal’ concierge service mentioned was non existent and the whole experience was soul-less and without any warmth. We asked on multiple occasions for help with our room, cleaning and updating amenities etc and often this was just not done! Room Service was late afternoon and patchy!! Old sound systems and TV and the dishwasher door actually fell off on our room when we were there! In a specific example of incompetence we had booked Covid tests for 9.15 am and the nurse didn’t arrive till 10am, and the staff didn’t seem to care about a line of 20 people waiting in the sun. The nurse (who was very nice) declared she had no idea people had been booked in for that time. Plus- a massive live cockroach in our room and no water brought every day! We had to ask for help with things daily and often it was just ignored. It’s these things that matter and the lack of care was very obvious- it felt like a money making machine only. This is a 3 star experience at best. Management need to take control and get service and room modernisation prioritised.

The food was good but the service was a pantomime of missed order, chef having his lunch and a ridiculous wine bill. It came separately to the food bill. I won't say anything further about the pantomime because the supervisor kindly gave my friend a free main course. But the wine bill! After some searching they managed to find us two bottles of Sauvignon Blanc. Two bottles in our local supermarket would cost EC$46 of what was a fairly cheap wine. Our bill for wine cost EC$416 including tax and service. Disgraceful mark up of our retail purchase price x9. Is this a record?

I travelled to st Lucia with 4 girlfriends for my birthday last month. I have to say this trip will go down in my memory book . From beginning to end this trip was magical, from the vip welcome at the airport to our departures was amazing. Karan Emmanuel and her entire staff made us feel very welcome and as if we were vip guests . From the complimentary birthday cake and decorations in my room, to all the requests we had was taken care off without any questions asked. The property is beautiful , well kept , bedrooms clean and very comfortable. we stayed on the third floor with an amazing view of the big yachts parked by the marina . The beautiful birds greeted us each morning while we sip on our coffee on our balcony . The food was very tasty , great chef by the swim up pool bar area . Honestly I cannot find one fault with the staff and this property, everything was perfect . Our drivers Gibson and chevon was brilliant . Overall st. Lucia is one of the most beautiful island I have ever been to . I will definitely be back and would highly recommend this property.

It starts with the communication from the concierge. Our main contact was Merissa (A++). Merissa reached out to us ahead of our travel to St. Lucia and answered all my questions, shared some great knowledge and booked various reservations for us. When we landed we got a ride from Ronnie (another A++) who was ready to scoop us up despite a delayed arrival and a combined 30-45 minutes of Covid, Immigration and Customs. Upon arrival at Marigot Bay (very pretty 50 minute drive) we were treated by a sanitizer station and our email/phone/concierge pal, Merissa. We were checked in, given a tour, shown our amazing room, and then we headed out to dinner at the grill. We booked the All IncLUCIAN (don’t second guess it, do it) which was perfect because I had four different rum drinks, a glass of Syrah, tomato/mozzarella, grilled octopus, lamb shanks, and key lime cheese cake. My wife had a salad and the ribeye which was thinner than we were used to but perfectly cooked and delicious - I would get the lamb or the ribeye again tomorrow and be excited for it. I ate this meal at a perfect leisurely pace while enjoying the sight of some impressive yachts. We are only here for four nights before we transition to Hotel Rabot but so far, after only 4 hours on campus, I am wondering why I decided to try another resort. I will check back in after our stay is over but so far, so good - I am already confident in saying book the Marigot!!

We stayed at Marigot Bay Resort on our first night in St. Lucia. We were greeted by the lovely staff, who provided us with a welcome fruit punch and drove us around the grounds with a short tour. Our room was up a few flights, and was a gorgeous apartment-like suite with a huge room/kitchen, laundry, and a beautiful balcony overlooking the bay. The resort grounds are beautiful, and have a couple of restaurants and pool area. The marina itself was beautiful too with boats docked, and we took the small ferry across the bay to the beach for a few drinks which was neat. The service here was great, and we're glad we came here for at least a night. We struggled with deciding if we should stay two because there wasn't much to do in the area, so we ended up going to Soufreire for the remainder of our trip. I'd definitely recommend Marigot Bay Resort when visiting St. Lucia. It was a great welcome into St. Lucia and the staff and nice rooms made it a great stay.

I would be happy to accept that this is a 3 star hotel, 5 star? NO. It is clean enough, the rooms are dark and very outdated and vastly over priced. The breakfast is poor and all the food is again vastly over priced. Butter in a plastic pot? No thank you. Piped musak by the pool? No thank you. Are the staff asked not to smile? A smile will come but you have to work for it and it is not really a guests job to enthuse the staff. You would have thought that people were pleased to have guests back. Please more work on creating a friendly hotel. It will really help. Remember this is Marina Hotel so don't expect views and beaches. The view is of the boats in the Marina. You want 5 star you go to The Sugar Beach. You want 3 star you come here.

The pools looked nice but we’re far too cold to swim in for most of our group so for me this marred the holiday considerably There were a lot of rain showers during our stay which was not a major problem but it was hard to get dry or even warm because being surrounded by hills ants tall apartment buildings you don’t get many hours of sun even when it does shine. The best thing to do is get out of the hotel and take the water taxi to the beach where the water is warm. The apartments are nice (despite the ants) but there is nowhere to buy food unless you get a taxi to a supermarket) so nothing was easy. Although the hotel website boasts 3 restaurants and even posts the menu on line you walk to it only to find it closed there is only one which is always open. By far the most efficient and helpful aspect of this hotel is the departure procedure, they allow you to stay in your room till late even if you have a late flight. This is because they don’t service the rooms till late afternoon, even then the body wash, shampoo, tea and coffee etc. does not get replenished. The staff are very pleasant and friendly but everything is VERY VERY slow. The baths and shower are incredibly uncomfortable and difficult to use, partly because it is difficult to get in and out of,( I ended up with an enormous ugly bruise down my leg) and the bottom of our bath had rust spots on. I got a bath mat from another room which helped a little. There are a lot of mosquitoes about which come into the rooms and we all got very bitten. Although there are a lot of inconvenient things about this hotel that could be improved, we all had a great time and I must compliment the staff on desire to help and stringent covid security measures. They all wear masks all time and one person who offered to take a photo even put gloves on before handling my phone. There are constant temperature checks and hand sanitising and I was able to stop worrying about the pandemic for a whole week.

My first ever Tripadvisor review.... After sailing across the Atlantic from the Mediterranean, we left our sailboat at Marigot Bay Marina for a few weeks while we flew home for the Christmas holidays. We had a fantastic experience, thanks in large part to the marina manager, Troy Blanchard. He gave such a personalized touch, delivering my sail to a loft in Rodney Bay for repairs, doing weekly WhatsApp video calls with me as he checked on our boat, kept our water maker fresh.... He has a great sense of customer care, and a wonderful personality. Plus the marina and bay are absolutely charming. Dale
