It would be hard to find a more relaxing and scenic destination than Cap Juluca. Rooms - with patios/balconies overlooking the beach - are spacious and comfortable. The staff is totally friendly and helpful, whether they're offering assistance in the main house, servicing the room, pampering you on the beach, or tending to the landscaping. I had seen comments from...

Impeccable Service! The staff was so gracious, from the moment we arrived (greeted with rum punch) to the day we left. It was raining when we arrived and a small amount of water came in our bathroom. Housekeeping cleaned it up within minutes of calling the front desk, and we were given a complimentary $400 couples massage for our 'trouble'....

We wanted a relaxing 'off season' holiday and that is exactly what we got. We had read the comments posted earlier concentrating on the negative ones and concluded that those posting negative comments had not lived in the tropics/west indies. Come with the right mindset and you get what you expect. Yes it is expensive even in the 'off season'...

Our daughter was married at Cap Juluca in late October and it was a superb experience. The rooms are large and well-appointed, the beach is beautiful and well-tended, the restaurants are excellent and the entire staff is attentive and friendly. The resort's wedding director, Verna Rogers, was terrific. She was actively engaged in the planning process -- from arranging menus...

After deliberating between CJ and the Viceroy, we chose CJ which was the right decision. Although less 'cool' the the V, the beach at CJ is stunning, the rooms large and comfortable and the staff warm and friendly.

We have been going here for 10 years, after visiting many of the other top Caribbean resorts, like Peter Island, Little Dix, Jumby Bay, and others, and CJ surpasses them all so we keep returning. Comfort is key with wonderful beds and even the most comfortable chaises on the beach. The bathrooms are excellent, the linens wonderful, and the food...

Thank you for staying with us. I could not agree with you more, sitting on the terrace of your villa enjoying a fantastic breakfast while gazing at the most amazing beach is a great way to start the day. On behalf of the Julucans, we look forward to welcoming you back over the next ten years.

I can't say enough about this property. The staff: from the General Manager, Gary; to Gene & Juliette at the Bell Stand; to the people that clean the rooms and the grounds... they are all so very nice. The beach is absolutely amazing, possibly the most beautiful we've ever seen! Pimms, Spice & Flights all have good food, albeit pricey....

With some places, photos make the place look marvelous, but upon visiting the reality of it doesn't live up to the image. At Cap Juluca, I had the opposite experience. The photos don't fully prepare you for the reality of the place. Spectacular is not too strong a word. It's almost otherworldly, even surreal. My room was gorgeous, spacious, well...

Just arrived back from this beautiful hotel. I was torn between the viceroy and CJ. The viceroy is beautiful and Miami modern...young and hip. CJ is perfection all villas steps from beach. These reviews by others are accurate...fabulous. Service was marvelous. Beautiful grounds and the rooms I was nervous with reviews...they are really nice..all white and dark wood...I was upgraded...

First and foremost, Cap Juluca announced to it's employees that it is on the edge of bankruptcy while we were there. While that had no ill effect on our stay, I don't know how it will effect future stays. We stayed at Cap Juluca the first week of November, 2011. Without hesitation, I can say that Cap Juluca is a...
