Modern hotel, but the room size is more for chickens than for adults. The owner obviously had one main goal, to get as much money and to limit the space to a minimum for the guest. If I would come again to Hel I would NOT choose this hotel.
We stayed for 2 nights in a double room. It was very small, and we struggled to find room for our suitcases. The balcony was shared with the adjacent room, so no privacy if you have neighbours. The hotel was new and clean and the staff were very pleasant. There was a kettle to make coffee in your room which was nice as this is not common in Polish hotels.
The accommodation was clean, comfortable and functional. The beds were comfortable, and the rain shower was one of the best I have ever experienced. The high quality of this hotel is matched by the high quality of it’s staff, who are both helpful and friendly. English and Polish are spoken by the staff here. The hotel has a very good coffee machine and appetising fruit smoothies, which can be purchased for a reasonable price. Hel as a destination is highly recommended. My friends and I spent two days there recently and had a wonderful time. The beaches on the north of the island are very good, with plenty of soft sand and gentle waves, making a good swim or party location. The beaches on the South side are busier, but offer plenty for families to see and do. My wife and I had fun running through the wooded tracks on the north of the peninsula, and we also all took advantage of the very good cycling track that runs on the north side of the peninsula from Hel to Jurata (approximately 11km). Hel has a great mixture of tourist facilities and attractions, and natural beauty. Keep and eye out for wild boars – we saw one which was huge! …
