Having stayed at a number of hotels in PNG, the Boutique is without a doubt the best. I recently stayed at the hotel when I first moved to Wewak and now live a short distance around the corner. The rooms are clean and comfortable and both restaurants are fantastic. The new grill menu has a variety of options and is... More

Having stayed there for a good length of time, I can say that I know of no other place in the area that even approaches this in quality of stay. Our pilots company wouldn't let him stay here, so each day we picked him up at his hotel and there was a substantial difference between the two. To have the... More

This is an average quality hotel in a lovely hilltop position overlooking the ocean. Thge rooms are basic but functional. The hotel does not have backup power and supply fails regularly. Staff are courteous and friendly but facilities are basic. Adequate for business but not a holiday destination. Reception is not 24 hour!

After a week on the Sepik the In Wewak Hotel was crisp, clean, efficient and a most welcome air conditioned respite from the heat. The pool was a necessary refresher also. it is good to have the restaurant an site, going out is unnecessary.

Had dinner there last night and was very much looking forward to the crocodile tail. I had stayed and eaten there on two occasions in 2008 and it was my favourite place, overlooking Wewak, clean, nice and well trained staff etc. For starters I had the salt and pepper squid. They were good but boring, just a bunch of deep... More

Stayed here one night prior to and after visiting the Middle Sepik. Was not expecting such a nice place on the dusty ride in through town. The hotel is above the beach with nice views, has seating on decks outside the rooms and a pool, which was greatly appreciated after our visit to the Sepik. Pool is only open 6am... More

Hilltop location with good sea breezes. Good dining facilities and well appointed rooms. Probably need rental car transport if visiting regional businesses. Hotel is well away and above the dirty, dusty, noisy township.

We stayed at the In Wewak for three days during a recent review visit. Its I think one of the best stays in Wewak so far. Rooms are well kept and also convenient to work in. Very quiet and friendly staff to cater for your needs. The food was a bit pricey but worth the while.

We stayed at this hotel one night before going up the Sepik River and three nights upon our return, before going on to the Mt. Hagen Sing-Sing. The only downside was the rooms they initially tried to put us in. They have a new wing of the hotel which they say is “just across the street.” When in fact, you... More
