Interesting range of reviews so were worried about what we were going to get. However when we arrived we received a warm welcome and we were shown straight to our room, with two kids 8 & 4 we booked a family room which is what we got. It was clean, quite and was a good size. Perfect for an inexpensive... More

It was that bad I didn't stay. An inspection of the rooms was enough. The car parking on site is a lie. More like in sight.the place was grotty and smelt of tobacco. We had to 5 locals in town before someone had heard of this place

Very calm there is not a soul that can bother you. Stella plage look like a ghost town...adecuate for retired people. Big houses with all windows blind closed. Wven during the day. The hotel room was perfect for the price. Nuce hot water even though it was not really needed as it was very hot weather. One thing they tried... More

Noted some mixed reviews. But the price was right for a night! Granted we paid a little more for a larger room 101. We were greeted with a lovely reception & recommended an excellent restaurant La Petite Auberge - food second to none! We spent a lovely evening, returning to a very comfy bed! A good powerful shower in the... More

Where to start with this hotel!! When we checked in we were told we were out in the garden rooms and to follow the man from reception - which we did. Our room was up a concrete staircase and at the end of a dark corridor. On entry to the room we found we had no view only of the... More

Were looking for a hotel in the area and came across Les Sables d'Or. The room was a very good price and was clean. Was pleasantly surprised to have a couple English tv stations to choose from as well, not that tv is all that important but it was nice. The staff at check-in was friendly too and gave us... More

Where do I start to describe this place......We had a family of 6 with 3 rooms 2 x double and one twin. Rooms where small but easily manageable. Kids loved the place but other couple were a little more fickle. Our room was what a 2 star would resemble...it was clean and was cleaned everyday of the 5 days we... More

They said it's close from the sea ... Noway, they said the renovation was done ... Well if you considere cracked painting is... More

Electricity died in the middle of the night. Sockets fell out the wall. Duvet stank of urine. Room was baking hot at one end and freezing at the other. Not enough plug sockets and no WiFi. Parking is on the street and there is not enough. Ah well, at least the roof didn't leak and there was no mould.

I still haven't quite got over the smell that filled the room. I was at this hotel with a group of school children - we were lucky that we'd looked at reviews and brought our own bed sheets and cleaning products. The bedding was dirty, the rooms were a disgrace - we had to go and clean most of the... More
