Next to Kempinski hotel. Super view over sea. Golf course and tennis nearby. Clean and confortable flat with air conditioning. Friendly staff at reception. Small shop for daily necessary. Wish stayed longer. About 1h from Pula airport by car.

The resort is well kept and relaxed. The apartment was a good size but a little tired and dated. Room serviced daily - towels, bed made, dishwasher tablets. The one site shop is very expensive. It’s possible to use the hotel next door. Some deals for the spa - which is a lovely spa. Pool was a good size but can get busy. But again very clean. Restaurant and pool bar are expensive

Did a last minute reservation during our train vacation and hoped for the best. After booking we realized that it wasn’t that easy to get to the hotel by train. But after mailing with the very helpful staff they’ve arranged a driver that picked us up at Koper in Slovenia and drove us to the resort. Driver was excellent and the help from the hotel was really good and had speedy responses. Everyone in the reception was very helpful during the entire stay and helped us with any question we had including finding a way to get to the train station in Trieste in the day of our departure. The room was spacious and accommodated our family of four in a good way. However the room had a strange smell to it, most probably from being a smoker room in the past, or that someone had smoked despite the rules not to. The kitchen was good but some appliances where missing like kettle and toaster, but there where post and pans and most things you would require, however not to much. Some more cutlery and things would have been good. The room also had a air conditioner which was needed since it was very hot during our stay. The switches to the bathroom included a switch for the water tank which we noticed that we had switched of during day two, cold water only in the shower... But turning it on again lead to the water heating up pretty fast. Good balcony in our apartment with good space to take out the clothes rack in the room to dry our bathing suites. The pool area was very spacious with a lot of room for everyone even during a hot day. The pool was split in two parts, one for smaller children with just a 20-30 cm of water and one deeper at around 1.4 meters. The sides of the pool became pretty slippery after a while and it was easy to slip so bath slippers or gentle walking was required. The pool bar served drinks and easier snacks if you wanted. Both the pool and the sea side was only for guests at Skiper so it was required to have a card indicating that you where a guest. The seaside provided a big area of concrete “beach” with stairs down into the water. The stairs wasn’t looked after so here it was pretty slippery as well with all the algae and seaweed growing on the steps. Lots of seats was available and we never had any issue with finding a spot to stay at. The water was great for snorkeling and it was pretty deep on the side to the sea, also was a shallow part as well but it was very small. Lots of interesting sites in the water, lots of fish, snails, crabs and hermit crabs which was fun and interesting for the entire family to experience. Didn’t try the restaurants since we found good ones outside the hotel area so we can’t say much about those.

We have visited Skiper many times over the years, and we were happy to see upon our return this year that the resort is well maintained. The location is great with excellent views to Piran and Italy from a peaceful and quite location in the country side. The resort has a large family friendly pool as well a huge sundeck platform at sea side. The sea offers crystal clear water for swimming and diving. The appartment was well equiped with kitchen, two bathrooms and balcony. Resort has tennis courts, multi-sports court and golf for those that like that. The resort is expensive but you do get a higher quality than you do on the Umag side.

We rented a maisonette right outside of the pool entrance. Beautiful view from the balcony on the Adriatic coast. Pros: - good airconditioning - well equipped kitchen, decent oven - two bathrooms - a safe - close to a good pool - nice park with playground - minimarket for last minute shopping Cons: - closest supermarket is 3.5 km away - no water cooker or kettle - parking can be a bit crowded

Stayed at the hotel for 4 days with my family. Everything was fine. Nice and clean facilities. Private access to ocean. Plenty to do nearby...waterpark, go- kart. Good idea to visit nearby towns og Piran and Izola.

Needing a sunny spring getaway we pushed the button on a last-minute three night stay at the resort. And absolutely don't regret the decision. Ours was a two-bedroom/two-bathroom apartment with a restorative view of the Adriatic and Piran; it was the blue/yellow "Imperial" suite on the website. The apartment and grounds were modern and immaculate; the furniture in very good to excellent condition; and the daily housekeeping removed trash and freshened linens as needed. The WiFi worked extremely well and without problem. The kitchen includes higher-end appliances, which is nice for those (like us) who enjoy meals "at home." If I were to make one suggestion, it would be to better stock the kitchen. There was no toaster, and the general lack of kitchen tools like large spoons and small knives meant some creativity on our parts to get a meal to the table. There is a small market on the grounds, though every time we walked past it was closed. The hours may differ during peak tourist season. The nearest full grocery market is in Umag, itself worth an hour or so to walk around. Included with our reservation was the option of having breakfast at the adjacent Kempinski hotel, for an additional fee. Though, we found enjoying our coffee and breakfast on the balcony overlooking the water to be a far superior option. The location was ideal for our little getaway. Trieste, Italy was about an hour's drive; and Piran and Koper less than that. Our check-in and check-out experience was without woe. The desk staff speak at least English, German, and Croatian, and probably more languages. We would not hesitate to recommend this resort to friends and family.

We came back to Savudrija after 3 years again. Our villa is fantastic however the golf club Adriatic represents a very bad experiences and unpleasant surprise this year. Fairways are very dry, greens not very well, food in the clubhouse much more worse then in 2013. We have been offered to leave our golf bags in the caddy room and within 2 days totally 3 Titlest golf clubs (2 hybrids and fairway wood) and an Titlest umbrella were unfortunately stolen from our bags. The staff didn't accept any kind of responsibility and they accused us that we have faked up this story, later the golf club manager Sonja said that we have stolen the clubs ourselves each other !!! Both the Golf Club Manager Sonja and the Operations Manager of the resort Mrs. Lara Haramina were totally unhelpful, impolite and unprofessional. We have rented a villa for 8 000€ in the resort and spent about 2000€ for the green fees, balls, food, etc. and we apparently haven't deserved any apology or any attempt to offer us neither any accommodating word nor any compensation of our very bad experience. They cried out that it was stupid to leave the bags in the caddy room !!! Their behavioral was completely short-sighted. There is a risk that other clients will face the same bad experience if the management would' t adopt any corrective measures.

Response from Skiper_01, Direttore at Skiper Resort
Responded Aug 9, 2016
Dear Katerina V., Thank you for taking the time to post a review on Tripadvisor of your recent stay with us. While we are glad to hear that you are satisfied with accommodation at our Resort, we are also sincerely sorry that you felt disappointed with the service at Golf Club Adriatic. As we pointed out in our direct communication following the occurrence of the theft of your clubs at the caddy room, we have implemented all reasonable safety and security measures in the Resort, and we continue improving them every year, always trying to find a proper balance between the interests of security and clients’ privacy and commodity. Still, as clearly indicated in written notification pending in the caddy room (which is open and free of charge), we are not responsible for the items left therein and therefore we cannot compensate your loss. We hope, however, that the price discount that we approved on the accommodation services managed to sooth your negative impression and that the police (if you reported the theft as we suggested) will find the thief. We wish you a wonderful summer hoping you will decide to visit us again. Best regards, Lara Haramina Operations Manager Rezidencija Skiper d.o.o.
