My experience at Gascony cookery school could not have been better. I was traveling by myself and didn’t quite know what to expect, but Vicki and David were the most gracious hosts. The idyllic town of Gramont and the accommodations are beyond beautiful and welcoming. We learned so much working with chef’s David and Bernard, I’m happy I took the... More

I don't often write reviews, because they can often be taken in different ways. But I have to put this review in place, because the Gascony French Cookery School is far more than a cookery school! David and Vikki, the owners and Bernard, the French chef who owns the Auberge restaurant, live in an idyllic village and they have created... More

I have always wanted to take part in a cookery course in France - and what a way to start! From the moment I booked the communication was excellent and even a last minute change of course was no problem to David & Vikki. Upon arrival I was made to feel like a member of the family. The accommodation is... More

This was my husbands birthday present. David, Vikki and Bernard were so welcoming and patient. The teaching, food and experience is something to be experienced and one we want to do again sometime. We learnt a lot in such a small amount of time. Thank you, Angela and Stewart Wright

I stayed for three days at the cookery school and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the food and most importantly the cookery classes! David and Vikki made me feel very welcome in their home and can't wait to go back again. The view from my room was absolutely stunning and so was the town of Gramont. I would definitely recommend... My wife and I attended the five-day school with two friends and were joined by a friendly and compatible woman that had come by herself. David, a British chef specializing in "fancy" French food, his entertaining wife Vikki, and Bernard, a French chef specializing in regional French dishes made our five days fly by. The buildings in Gramont were all... More

Food, company, conversation, all blended together by talented experts. To eat well you need first class ingredients, and the people at the heart of the Gascony Cookery School are its secret. The enthusiasm of the chefs and the love of their craft are inspirational, the mix of learning and fun and the welcome from the whole team is blended to... More

We attended a Charcuterie course in mid-August. Everthing about our stay was excellent, starting with the fantastic welcome from Vikki and David - we felt at home. The course itself, which takes place in two locations, the Chambres d'Hotes and the village's auberge, was really interesting, challenging, eye-opening and enjoyable. David and Bernard put so much into organising the course,... More

As other reviewers have noted, this is an outstanding experience from beginning to end. Vikki and David are outstanding, warm and friendly hosts and their property is meticulously and beautifully maintained. There is a terrace where breakfast and many meals are served which has a breathtaking view. The location is gorgeous and although it is in a rural part of... More

I cannot speak highly enough about our time in Gramont at the Gascony cookery school. My daughter and I did David and Bernard's four day course and it was just magic. David and Vikki made us feel like part of the village and we just loved everything about this very special experience. Both of us are already plotting when we... More
