We did not have a reservation but were able to stay the last 2 nights the hotel was open for the season. This is a very special place with it's history and our room was very comfortable and spacious. We had dinners in the restaurant and the meals were memorable. The wines are their own and did not disappoint. We...

Now you can make your fantasies come true. This hotel in an old monastery is in the middle of a huge wine country with the pond, wonderful pool, and overlook with great panoramic pictures if you're willing to walk the steps. The rooms were beautiful, very comfortable and quite large. But what's more important is that you have the run...

We spend only one night. The hotel is located on the country side on a hill with a gorgeous view on the valley and the sea. It is compose of several buildings spread on the domain with a central courtyard with a church. We found the room small, with no light and not very welcoming. Also, the wifi is desperatly...

The narrow and winding road takes you to the top of a hill covered with olive trees and wine fields. There is a medieval abbey that is turned into a cozy hotel with an exellent pool area with a magnificient view. You will find a fine dining restaurant, cuisine, and Sicilian hospitality at it's best. Furthermore, the mansion is still...

In the Sicilian country a few kilometers from Cefalu with vineyards and olive trees. Superb architecture very well preserved. The dining room is 5 stars, best place we have eaten in Sicily. Massimo is very helpful and joyful and connaisseur of his wines, the wines of the property which are very good.

The location of the hotel is stunning- the drive up is a bit bumpy (tip- dont slow down too much over the humps as they are actually worse!) Staff were very helpful and welcoming and spoke excellent english. We were shown to a beautifully large room, enormous bed and very clean. Everything in the hotel, including the grounds was spotless....

What a beautiful hotel, from the setting, the restored monastery, lovely rooms, gardens, and the care provided by the staff, just a lovely place to stop. Our only regret was that we only stayed one night. The rooms are large, well fitted and lovely bathrooms. We ate lunch in the bar and it was delicious, sandwiches made on great bread...

This really was along way from anywhere, but we are glad we stayed there. We had a lovely junior suite for two nights. The food here was very good. Breakfast had a good choice with lovely views over to the coast. Very helpful and friendly staff. We really did enjoy the restaurant in the evening. We sampled one of their...

Beautiful hotel with excellent rooms, breakfast and helpful service. However we were looking forward to spend some time in the wellness but unfortunately this was closed and the hotel was difficult to find from the main road, no signs, so we spend a lot of time searching.

The old abbey is a beautiful hotel and the staff are all very friendly and obliging. The wine produced by the estate's vineyards is also delicious, as is the limoncello. There is a good lunch and dinner menu, and the breakfast selection is excellent. The walks on the estate aren't as long or varied as I'd hoped, and there were...
