Unfortunately, I didn’t sleep well here due to the very hard bed. For those who would find this problematic, I don’t recommend it. Anyone else will have an enjoyable stay. Bare bones, but beautifully located, clean, and friendly.

Hotel du Bac is a special little hotel on the coast. The views from are bedroom were spectacular. The location is superb, the bistro was excellent. There are a few other restaurants in walking distance which are also very good. Our stay was very uplifting.

We drove here having left Benedot across the estuary. We just happened to find this restaurant overlooking the water. A superb position. We sat inside as it was quite chilly. The views are wonderful. I had the whole crab with mayonnaise which was so fresh and the the biggest crab I've ever had. It took me ages to crack my way through it. My husband had the lamb which was well presented and cooked perfectly. We both fell for the lemon meringue tarts. We saw them being served to the people at the table be to us. They were divine. I don't normally have a dessert, but couldn't resist this dessert! The staff are fantastic, so friendly, helpful and well organised. Can thoroughly recommend this lovely restaurant with its crisp blue and white interior.

Brought a group of 20 touring bicycle riders. Took over entire hotel. A real gem start to finish. Beautiful rooms, views of the bay, excellent service and food. A real local hideaway and a get a feel for the real Brittany.
