Rooms and bathrooms were very clean, breakfast available for purchase, close to an amazing vineyard that gives wine tours. Staff was hard to find at times, however, they are the friendliest people ever. Lockers are also extremely spacious. I loved this town and this hostel.

From Rome you can catch a train to Florence and then a Busitalia bus from the terminal next to the central S.M.N. station. from here you can then connect to Siena and also sangimignano as well as Florence.

Hello Kelly, We did not came across any day tour starting from Ostello del Chianti or Tavarnelle. All tours start from Florence. The hostel would probably help you with the bikes but we dont think tour is an option. Between... More
