Stayed for a week on our honeymoon. Had a fantastic time here! Franco and Sonia were wonderful hosts. The location is perfect - rural and quiet, but a quick drive into Tavarnelle to stick up on supplies. Also very convenient for driving around the Chianti region and beyond - San Gimignano, Volterra, Seine, etc We rented the Aia suite -...

We stayed in the Pergola apartment for 2 weeks. Il Bacio is in a tranquil and beautiful part of Chianti equal distance from Florence and Sienna. The owners Franco and Sonia are friendly and helpful and it was wonderful to be part of this organic vineyard for a short time. We loved the involvement with the family and the animals...

My husband and I were trying to find a completely different winery and got a little lost, we found the signs pointing to this winery and we thought...why not! I was so pleased we found this wonderful little winery. Franco , the owner was busy when we arrived ( we surprised him) and he immediately accommodated us. The wine was...

My husband and I stayed at Il Bacio for a week in early May. After a week of exploring busy and crowded cities, a countryside retreat was just what we needed. The location among the vineyards is so picturesque, and the Aia apartment was spacious and equipped with everything we needed (dishes, cooking equipent, hair dryer, wifi, etc). It's definitely...

A beautiful 'romantic weekend' gateway. Family-run little place surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. We stayed in the beautiful Aia apartment – cosy, homey, clean, spacious room with a view (bed was very comfortable and warn, just a bit too squeaky), very nice kitchen and bathroom, gorgeous terrace overlooking the vineyards. Hosts are great, helpful, very kind and not intrusive....

We recently stayed with Sonia and Franco - cannot say enough about the wonderful experience. The location, welcome, and warmth of the place and family are fantastic. The winery is also terrific, and we sampled several of the lovely wines - ranging from Chianti to other Sangiovese and Cabernet varieties. The location is ideal for exploring northern Tuscany - Florence,...

This was absolute paradise. We had planned our stay with Sonia and Franco far in advance and were not disappointed in anything. The location was wonderful, peaceful, and gorgeous. Rolling hills everywhere, grapes, olives, all enchanted us. It's a little hard to find at first but once you've got it, it's easy to get all over to the familiar and unfamiliar...

How one feels about Il Bacio depends a lot on your priorities. If you want a modern place with modern amenities, you will be sorely disappointed. But if you’re looking for a rustic, authentic Tuscan experience—with great scenery, classic old stone houses, great wine (yes, they produce their own wine, not just grow the grapes), a very caring and friendly...

I recently visited il Bacio for wine tasting. The place is off the beaten track (including dirt/gravel road, which our Fiat Panda had no problem navigating), and it is set among the Tuscan hills. Upon arrival Franco showed us the cellar and took the time to explain how they make their wine on site. Franco was a gracious and friendly...

On a recent Tour of Tuscany, we stopped at this family owned winery and had an amazing experience! The wine is fabulous and the family is equally as inviting and willing to educate you on the process of making Chianti. I hope to go back and stay for vacation!
