We own two neighboring buildings: Hotel POST and Hotel VICTORIA, 50 metres away from Hotel POST. Both hotels are historical buildings of the 11th and 12th centuries. In 2062 Hotel POST will be 1000 years old! And it is precisely these 1000 year-old walls, frequently renovated in the last years, which give this hotel its own particular flair. The facilities are balanced by the large meadows in the park, the sun terrace, the panorama Café, the children's playground, and the petting zoo. But the unique quality of Hotel POST and Hotel VICTORIA is the breathtaking panorama view. From the house you have an unimpeded view of the giants of the Dolomites. The proud peaks of the Rosengarten, Latemar and Schlern and many more are your closest neighbors for the length of your stay with us. Our Rittner hiking trails cover over 360km of marked and a further 350 km of unmarked hiking routes - in total over 700km! You can't manage that all in one visit...perhaps it's another reason to come again.

Stayed for 2 nights as part of a walking holiday. Website and welcome suggested that walkers were welcome. However we were left to feel like second class clients; not permitted in the dining room, proper, even for breakfast - although there were plenty of available tables. We tried to get an evening meal and were put in the terrace at an unset table by an extremely rude waitress who clearly knew nothing of culinary etiquette. She handed us the lunch time drinks menu after we had to ask for the wine list - and seemed annoyed when we repeated our request for the wine list. At this point we gave up. Saving grace at breakfast was good leaf tea with infusers and good sized mugs! The coffee was awful - the first and only rotten coffee we've ever had in Italy. Accommodation very average, dated, but clean and spacious. There are many many hotels around Oberbozen so I'd avoid this until it's brought properly into the 21st century and trains its staff.

I first visited the Hotel Post Victoria for an afternoon in the late 1990s and had always promised myself a return visit and stay. Together with my wife, daughter and son-in-law, we have just had a glorious week there and thoroughly enjoyed the area and all it has to offer. The hotel is very accommodating, with nicely furnished rooms and those with a south facing view have a stunning view of the Dolomites. A wide variety for breakfast will satisfy all but the fussiest of tastes and the evening meal menu is excellent too. With a quite excellent sauna and steam rooms the traveler can unwind in the afternoon and early evening or swim in the pool while enjoying the view over the mountains. The local mountain train runs right by the hotel and quickly takes you to the other local villages while the cable car is just a ten-minute ride down to the bustling Bolzano. The Post-Victoria is a super hotel in the gorgeous village of Oberbozen that provides lots of walking and hiking opportunities for the more energetic. My long-awaited return there was 100% justified, it's simply superb and our host Fabien was extremely friendly and helpful.

My stay at Post Victorias was very enjoyable, but too short. I came just for a layover on my way North. But these three days I` m going to remember quite a while. They had lovely food, a professional mix of local dishes and mediterranen plates. A exquisite choice of wines. A place to come back with my family for a longer vacation. I recommend rooms exposed to the South, they got a marvellous view over the Dolomites. Almost I forgot the Rittencard!!! A card to enter 80 museums and castles and every public transportation - all for free... Many thanks to the reception - they helped me a lot giving me informations.

Centrally located (for the Renon plateau). Easy to hop on the alpine car and get down into the city, or wander through the woods and enjoy an excellent meal in a remote baita. Friendly staff, ready to respond to any request. Nice to have the pool to relax in if the weather's bad or you're tired from a day spent walking through the woods. All told, worth returning to.

We had a lovely stay in this hotel. It is very practical when travelling with small kids. First of all the location is great as is perfectly reachable by public transportation (direct train from Rome to Bolzan and then funicular railway). In the little village there is also a local train station that connects the mountain villages and makes it easy to reach different trekking tracks. You can borrow a pram from the hotel suitable for some of the tracks. Particularly there is a track thought for kids as there are several stops with entertainment and restaurants/cafeterias. The hotel has a playing room and in the evening offers a kind of baby sitter service (one person overlooking the playing room). The hotel staff is very kind. Rooms are clean and reasonably big with amazing view. There is also a kids club for activities during the day. Indoor swimming pool and sauna are an enjoyable plus, but sauna should be better equipped (you cannot make work a sauna without water!). One major downside is the restaurant. Food is generally good (with different choices every day and variety), but it lacks of children menu. Staff kindly offered special food or simplified versions of the dishes, but they were usually still not suitable for children. Moreover the restaurant staff is not very well organized and sometimes slow.
